Robert was bundled in a coat, it was cold up in the air after all, but they had to go up a bit high in order to actually see the sunrise over the general city pollution.
Robert can't lie. He's tired as fuck. An early riser by long-ingrained habit, he's never exactly been bright-eyed and bushy-tailed about it like others that he's known. Blazer, and Clark, for example- and even there Clark's got Blazer beat by an order of magnitude Robert's never seen.
The two have something else in common, though. They're about the only two people on earth Robert is this comfortable with, as far as being a passenger goes.
Never fucking flying with Chase again, that's for sure.

While I take a small break to not go insane, I figured out how to like make a coherent verse for a kingdom hearts crossover. Under read more just because it might be a bit lengthy!
Kingdom Hearts AU - the utopian future of Crystal Tokyo was never realized. When a universal outbreak of Chaos devastated the galaxy, Usagi made the ultimate sacrifice to save humanity: she plunged the Earth into a 1,000-year sleep and sealed the Galaxy Cauldron to lock Chaos away. Her desperate victory came with an agonizing price. By sealing the Cauldron, she locked the cycle of reincarnation itself. Her fallen friends, her husband, and her daughter are trapped on the other side of that door—unable to ever be reborn.
Now, in the year 904 of the third millennium, the humans have finally awakened to a shattered reality. Earth is a frozen wasteland overrun by Heartless and corrupted humans, known as "Chaoslings."
At the center of it all stands Crystal Tokyo, the universe's last safe haven, a heavily fortified refugee camp populated by humans and surviving alien Senshi from extinct galaxies at this point.
Protecting them is Sailor Cosmos, a sailor guardian who sacrificed her humanity to become a living shield. Her Silver Crystal has evolved into the god-like Lambda Crystal: acting as both the lock on the Cauldron and the battery for Crystal Tokyo's barrier, but the crystal is a curse: it slowly eats away at her, because much like the silver crystal, the crystal takes a toll on her body.
(this is essentially a bad end au for the sailor moon universe :D because i like pain! This ofc is also a universe that can be altered or plotted differently for more aus!)
The other side to this AU for those who want to write with Serenity and not Cosmos Serenity please see the following:
Kingdom Hearts AU 2: Unlike the other Princesses who are often portrayed as passive captives, Serenity’s pure light grants her immense, active creation magic. Because her heart has zero darkness, she can wield the Silver Crystal without being destroyed by its power. However, this makes her the ultimate target <3 this plays with ofc Serenity being seen as pure Good. Pure light. The Light of Hope if you will. So it'd be an interesting take if people wanted to RP in this verse with princess! Her light is powerful as all seven simply due to the silver crystal ~ so getting her would be a very advantage. (however im still like filling this nonsense out so ideas are subject to change! I am willing to plot~)

second of all, would you ever consider decreasing the server age limit by 1 year or so? as we speak, i'm about midway thru 20 and lately find myself stranded among servers that don't have the mature community or standards for writing that i've been looking for. urgh.

Robert is wearing his usual dead in the eye expression he used to wear by default back in LA- from doing errands, or guiding his team through dicey situations.
Only it's more an impression of that old self than anything else. He just can't do that numb 10000 yard stare like he used to. Not since Wally came into his life and embedded himself deep in the firmament of his being. Nowadays, he's always smiling even when he's not. Wally has infused life and a long-forgotten sense of play and he's not letting go of that for anything.
Besides, he's got a few tricks up his sleeve. He's no Scott Free, but one doesn't live as long as he has without picking up a thing or two.
