Grid Waste goes live today for our soft opening.
A Message for our Corporate Clients:
We would like to introduce you to a new way to think about your waste removal program, and invite you to consider that the way your company or your waste brokerage hire and manage waste removal contractors is not designed in a way that lowers the hauler's costs and, therefore, lowers yours.
A company like yours, with units spread across wide geographic areas, doesn't offer waste removal companies route density that allows them to operate more efficiently. As a result, the best price you are offered is limited by the distances your haulers are driving between customers. The prices you get are generally “sealed envelope” bids, where haulers submit prices they think are competitive and yield them the highest returns. Often, these bids could be lower if haulers knew what pricing would ensure them contracts. To top it off, working with so many locations and so many vendors, you often have poor, inaccurate, and untimely collection data, limiting transparency into the efforts that you've delegated.
We've built Grid Waste to offer you a better way for companies to manage their waste services. Our service helps businesses group with neighboring businesses to offer haulers the best logistics, and in turn get the best prices. We take bids using a reverse-auction format instead of a sealed-bid format, which drives quotes lower and lower as haulers see what the winning prices are and compete to win your business. We provide haulers with a reporting platform that provides you and your haulers with real-time collection data. With your online portal, you can add users and define permissions to facilitate delegation, complete transparency and information continuity, letting you manage all of your locations and all of your services with ease.
We want to hear from you. Our service is free to waste generators like your company, and we take only 3% of the hauler's invoice in exchange for using our system and processing all of your payments with our ACH banking transaction.
