🏆If someone drops out of high school, are they a failure?🏆 As per the belief if general society, yes. However, as a matter of fact, no. The truth is the school system is known for its flaws, look at how stressed and pressured youths are now with the thought of going to school. As I have mentioned before every decision we make is based on pain or pleasure. If your youth is showing signs of displeasure with school, it's likely due to them experiencing pain while at school, therefore, their natural response is to avoid the pain. There can be numerous reasons to why someone wants to dropout. Depression, bullying, not understanding the curriculum, pressure, the truth is no one dropouts "just cause". Everything happens for a reason, and people act a way for a reason. For a youth to convert from the idea of dropping out, to making the decision to drop out, something had to have happened. That's a huge decision to make. As for the supposed "guarantee" that if you drop out you will fail, there is no proof that is true for everyone. There is numerous successful stories of youths becoming very successful and fulfilled after dropping out. Dave Thomas, founder of "Wendys" was a high school dropout. After his rise to success he went back and garnered his GED. However, before that he became very successful. When Dave Thomas dropped out he was likely labeled as a failure, and soon he enough he proved them all wrong. You see, it's the focus, choices, and thoughts that determine out success or failure. Dave was focused, he was determined, and he made daily commitments towards his goal. It paid off. Is this a guarantee for all dropouts? No. Just as it isn't a guarantee that all that graduate will be more successful than those who don't. It's our focus, choices, thoughts, and effort that determines our success and fulfillment. School isn't for every one, college isn't for everyone, however, success and fulfillment is for anyone who is willing to put in the work and maintain strong focus on the end result they want. Others don't determine your worth, that's 100% on you. #coachdmboddy #trainharderthanyoudream (at Calgary, Alberta)
