Coach Malaysia Celebrated the Opening of Their Flagship Store in Malaysia at the Launch Party in Pavilion Elite

KUALA LUMPUR, 24 February 2017 – Coach, Inc., (NYSE: COH, SEHK: 6388), a leading New York design house of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle brands hosted a launch party to celebrate the official launch of its Coach Flagship store in Malaysia and the largest in Southeast Asia at Coach Pavilion Elite.

Korean star, Jessica Jung and multi-talented Indonesian singer, Afgan made their special appearance for the ribbon cutting ceremony to officiate the flagship store. The two stars were joined by Mr. Ian Bickley - President of Coach International Group, Mr. Giorgio Sarne – President, Coach Asia, Mr. Emmanuel Ruelland - General Manager, South East Asia & Oceania and Dato’ Joyce Yap – CEO of Retail, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, guests were ushered to the after-party at the 9th floor of Pavilion Elite. The entire space was transformed into what resembles the elements of Coach and New York. The party started off with DJ Cuurley warming the decks, and guests were seen filling up the party space before the much-anticipated appearance of our guest star, Jessica Jung.

Jessica made her appearance with thunderous applause by guests and fans as she greeted her Malaysian fans before she departed the party. The party continued with special performance by local rapper and singer, Joe Flizzow and SonaOne with hit songs such as “Firefly” and “Havoc”. Indonesian guest singer, Afgan serenaded to the guests with one of his hit number, “Jalan Terus”.

Celebrities namely Nora Danish, Juliana Evans, Hunny Madu, Jojo Goh, Yumi Wong, Kim Raymond, Tengku Chanela Jamidah, Keith Foo, Brian See, Chris Tong and many more were seen decked in the latest Coach 1941 Spring 2017 collection. The night ended on a high note with DJ Goldfish and Blink on decks to wrap up the party.

The Pavilion Elite store is a Modern Luxury concept flagship store with an approximate of 6,000 square-foot double storey space designed by Coach’s Executive Creative Director, Stuart Vevers. The new retail space features a 36-foot-tall glass block facade, face-lit logos and impressive blackened metal detailing.
