not like i post about her much anymore but i made one of those character inspo memes for coatli. kinda hard bc half of her inspiration is mexican/american southwest folklore and personal experiences with folk religion and witchcraft. and any inspo from other media is scattered and fairly recent compared to when she was created, but she’s my ongoing oc project so other creations continue to inspire her.

the order starting from top left is: Tlazolteotl (Aztec goddess of filth, purification and adultery, image from artist corazonmexica’s tarot deck where she is in the place of The Devil), a Santa Muerte altar in place of that folk religion inspo, Chel (Road to El Dorado), Megara (Disney’s Hercules), Acat and Scorpion Warrior (Maya and the Three, scorpion warrior is mostly her voice claim.) and Harley Quinn.

This time it's Coatli (@coyoxxtl), who's been incredibly fun to work on! She still needs her tattoos and her happy trail, and I have my eye on some even bigger hair assets, but I'm pleased with the way her texture has come out.
