What do you think of Gintama? I'd just like to hear your impression.

I think it’s really funny, but I actually like the plot arcs of the manga about 1,000x better than I like the out of context funny scenes. The story of Gintoki’s past, and the terrorists who are remnants from the war are my absolute favorite parts of the manga and what draws my attention far more than the alien stuff or the hijinks. 

Which is why I’m most likely going to reread the whole manga again once it’s ended for sure, in order to get a better grasp of the overall arching plot because for me it was a bit of a hard manga to keep up with and interest in on a week to week basis. 

It’s not a criticism I just think it would be better read as the whole thing all at once. That’s my opinion of the series in general right now, when I reread it it’s probably going to change a bit.

one thing i dislike about my fave character: That’s he’s just a small part of another person (ye, Sasaki is my fave, I decided!)

one thing i like about my hated character: If it’s Torso.. Mutsuki’s gonna get some character development thanks to him, I guess? Or hope.
