Any time I redraw an old character they will get like 50% fatter

They're a living statue that was made hundreds of years ago to guard a sealed tomb holding a great evil. One day they reawaken from their slumber to be met with an adult Finn. Stating their purpose of guarding the tomb with their life, they got the unfortunate wake up call that Finn and Jake killed whatever was in the tomb through a back entrance years ago

Now without a purpose The Pebble Guardian, now calling themselves "Cobble", has to learn to live in the world they were never prepared to explore. Old habits die hard though and Cobble's stoic and stone-faced demeanor seems to clash with a lot of the more.. silly residents of Ooo

so if there is a gem type based on just small rocks(pebbles) could there also be boulders(big rocks) and granules(tiny rocks)

Boulder showed up on the concept art at some point! I sketched some rocks and then put them to scale for better reference too.

This year I’m making it a goal to draw most of my OCs that have little to no art, so I’m starting with this lil guy I love dearly, Cobble! Bought him on toyhouse quite a while ago, couldn’t resist because Groudon is my favorite pokemon. Cobble is an angry ankle biter that loves to nom on gravel XD

Redesigned Cobble a bit to fit with soem updated worldbuilding on kobolds

anyways so I have made it that many thousands of years ago they were a species similar to axolotls and salamanders, and they haven't actually evolved much since them, making them shockingly sapient for a primoridal species. They gained the ability to eat rocsk and minerals after being trappedi n caves for so long and adapting to gain energy from less direct food sources. Kobolds eventually were discovered when miners excavated their homes and they ran rampant in the world. They gained a fondness to dragons as their mischiveious and curious nature when discovering the surface lead many to hunt them out of frustration with their antics, so they flocked to various mountainous caves, taking shelter and being given food by dragons as long as they ran various errands in return. Kobolds have a tendancy to come and go between places and don't usually live in one home, just setting up moving camps or jumping between the homes of trusted friends.
