“we shouldn’t be holding indie creators to the same standards as bigger media“ i agree on principle but like this only seems to ever come up when the indie creator in question is being racist for some mysterious reason. So
every video game dev is no longer allowed to touch any deserts nor anything in them to any capacity you have all FAILED the test
"egypt is basically just a barren wasteland with treasure to be stolen repurposed right? nobody lives here so its a victimless crime, right?"
???? NO??????
STOP ROLEPLAYING AS FUCKING COLONIZERS
"what about the deserts in america? can we borrow the wild west aesthetic?" I need you to ask yourself where the term "wild west" came from and what exactly needed to be "tamed" about it. I need you to think about it really really hard
More of you need to learn about these ☝️

Based off hit tumblr post:
“What does casual racism look like in LGBTQ spaces? A lot like casual racism everywhere else. Casual racism thinks mixed race people are “exotic,” penis size is determined by race according to “some studies” that probably don’t exist, black women are aggressive, and just about every other common racial stereotype under the sun. Really, stereotypes fuel casual racism in all its forms. Casual racism also thinks that LGBTQ people have transcended all responsibility for dealing with racial issues. For example, if you’re a queer person of color who wants to vocalize a racial concern in a predominantly white queer space and casual racism rears its head, you could be accused of being divisive (extra irony points if you were pointing out divisiveness that actually exists). Sometimes casual racism masquerades as inclusion or open mindedness. For example, there are some gay people who go out of their way to date someone of another race just to say they’ve done it. Such gays then receive the Congratulatory Cookie of Open Mindedness from people of color for letting us sleep with them. But not really, because dating someone because of their race is as ridiculous as rejecting someone because of their race. The same applies to predominately white gay groups that go out of their way to snag token people of color (oblivious to the fact that these spaces don’t always feel inclusive to the people of color in question). Tokenism may seem progressive on its surface, but it’s really just another form of othering. So if you see casual racism, remember it. And talk about it. Notice if you’re ever guilty of it and, if you are, take responsibility for it. I would say explain it to other white LGBTQ people, but it’s frustrating when it takes a white person saying the same thing people of color have been saying for ages to convince other white people to change their actions. Instead, tell them to take the race related concerns of LGBTQ people of color seriously – as in listen to us. As LGBTQ people, we get silenced all the time, told we’re too sensitive, told not to flaunt our sexuality. Sexual minorities of color can find themselves silenced further when their concerns about race are dismissed by the predominantly white, mainstream LGBTQ community. Let’s keep working to change that.”

Metal Cardbot S Glober
I love Metal Cardbot with a passion, and Especially Glober, he was my first one after watching the show. My only gripe with him is that his eyes look angry, whereas they were tilted the other way and looked sort of sad in the show.
His articulation is pretty much perfect, he's only missing wrist swivels but he more than makes up for that with all the little clicks and clacks he makes as you move his joints! He's got quite a lovely and simple transformation and I really appreciate some of the little suprises it pulls, and it feels so great to do.
I have Blue Cop S already, and I have Deep Bite, Flash Vector, and Spark Bit on the way, which I'm incredibly excited for. I'm hoping to get Blastrain and Flame Nova in a couple month's time too!

You should be outraged for Murry Foust. He was missing for 28 days, almost a month. And he wasn't found by the police, or a police organized search party. No. No, he was found by an independently led group.
And of course, the police are claiming "no foul play" in Murry's death.
We need to be angrier.
hey. you have to love your trans brothers of color okay. and your trans sisters of color. and your nonbinary siblings of color. you have to okay. its simply non-optional
you have to love your intersex siblings of color. you just have to
I found out today that there was a (thankfully very ill-fated) attempt to have the entire Wikipedia article on discrimination against transgender men deleted. At first I thought the perpetrator was yet another bargain bin transphobe/TERF act of disruption but apparently not so, she is a trans woman. The user in question had been disputing the use of transandrophobia in the article as being inappropriate, but as other editors pointed out, the way in which it was used was as to be expected (basically saying “hey this term is being used commonly right now in places to describe this phenomena”). When attempts to get the article edited to remove any mention of the term failed, this user instead decided to just nominate the whole article for deletion instead. She even went as far as to say “you will never be a man” to the editors disputing this, though it was quickly deleted. It’s the actions of only a single person, but I find this indicative of how the chronic devaluing and othering of transmasculine people and voices in faux-transfeminist spaces leads to action basically indistinguishable from cis transphobes. Resorting to attempted vandalism of an online resource and blatant transphobia is a symptom of this trend that deserves absolutely no patience at this point.
