Cobolted
There was nothing about this that he loathed but he didn’t particularly like it either as Almeis looked about the empty cell, somewhat shocked that he had been yanked out of his own cell and placed...well..here. It wasn’t ideal but he could have been chained to someone worse (Voland or Cronus for instance.) He lightly tugged on the chain and slowly exhaled through his nose.
“Well...This could be entirely worse.”
Certainly, there was not exactly a happy history between the two of them. Almeis’s first master had been a blue blood back on Alternia for starts and Darkleer had played his part in the capture of the signless-but that was a whole other notion. Things had changed a great deal since then due to the nonsense within the complex and the many sweeps he’d served as a helmsmen.Though he couldn’t entirely admit to really knowing if the other regretted his actions or not.
“I do wonder what the purpose of this nonsense is...though I have no intentions of making this difficult.” At least not for now. Almeis could be very mischievous if he got too bored and he wasn’t entirely sure if him and Xanius were going to get along or not. Though he was more than used to dealing with blue bloods and if anything this was a little nostalgic, if in an awful sort of way.
