hanging
looming
swaying
with certain
feelings
attached to its
threads
those of
dirt
of age
of negligence
do you care
about the corners
do you love
every inch
a detail
oriented mind
will catch it
as web
catches flies
and hold it
as cob
does kernels
run
the dusty silk
through restless
fingers
we are in disrepair
the motormouth
laments
maybe call
the exterminator
be as thorough
as complete
as possible
this is no
place for vermin
other than our own
you clean it
and know it is gone
know it is done
it is finished
but the quality
of cobweb
is that it is not
only one
it is every corner
overlooked
and the bigger
the mansion
the more nooks
to clear
your success
doubles
as your worry
triples
or at least
as your worry
should
if you really cared
about the
hanging
looming
swaying
and the one day
we all fear
is when we find
a cobweb
in our mind
that poor
forgotten corner
taken
aged and dirtied
as inevitable
as anything
a shame
