New Client Alert!

December just got chirpier with Km Km, the Cockatiel, boarding with us at Bird Sitting Toronto!

So I figured out a way to get them to be next to each other without trying to kill themselves. As you can tell Bowie (the one on the left) still tries to come next to Moe (the one on the right), obviously he's still not ready to share his space yet lol. But they slept perfectly fine last night. Which I'm really happy! I've noticed the other day that they were sleeping next to each other by the cages, which is obviously telling me they want to be around each other to feel safe yet give space. So yesterday Moe actually sang to me and I was pretty happy with that. He's starting to trust me. Positive steps my feathered babies! He still bites, but he's getting use to my hands around the cage. I wish he would let me pet him like he lets ziggy pet him 🙄😞😒 I love how @bity_bree gave me one of these little adorable stuffed cockatiels that she purchased from the maker @hiade9 ! We use to have only one cockatiel in the family, Mr Buttons and she got me a keepsake of him because I gifted her that cockatiel for Christmas. That proud birb mom moment when your new birb wants to hang out on your and spare his precious time with you and doesn't hiss or bite you. As you can tell bowie(on the left) is chilling and loves hanging out with me and moe(on the right) is trying to figure out if he can trust me. Bowie got a new home thanks to a stranger who was selling it. Their poor baby flew away and she didn't want the cage anymore. It's a sad story but I sent her photos of bowie enjoying it and she seems happy to see a new baby enjoying it. She gave me a bunch of his toys and food as well as treats. It's almost big enough to have two birds at once! But I love that bowie has all this space now!
