Since none of us saw that coming, let’s take some guesses on wtf Octavia is gonna do and how her character and story is gonna be resolved since her entire new found self is built on the foundation of being a better person for her brother to accept her again.
Because I swear if we have to see ONE more Conclave in those damn fighting pits. Especially if it’s between Octavia and Clarke. Imma fight.
And if they manage to ruin Murphy’s character imma fight because every remaining OG Deliquent has been ruined. Raven’s guilt plot? Um...she’s done worse. I literally don’t understand why we’re NOW just digging into Raven’s emotions other than pain. Bellamy’s blind faith? Wasn’t his character the one who REBELLED against rules and blind faith?? Clarke’s family aspect? Did she not state to Bellamy like ten days ago he’s her family and she just—?? Did she not say she doesn’t want to lose anyone else before pulling the—?? Like, day trip, together, all the angsty you/me lines, the radio calls, the head and the heart, the lantern, the dad mug?? Why????? Octavia’s plot about figuring out who she is?? It’s been seven seasons and she’s different every single season. They literally took the girl under the floor made her a cold blooded killer who is apparently better than everyone who grew up training and fighting most their lives and had her lead an army of cannibals to a meaningless war and then sent her away with her enemy who became her family and gave her new purpose only to send her back to the bunker that represents the darkest part of her life and now she can’t get closure with her brother which is truly the only character who has loved and protected her and was only ever with the Deliquents BECAUSE of his love for her. So now she’s either gonna relapse because she lost Diyoza and Bellamy and she’ll become the final villain or she’ll find it within herself to forgive and “do better”. I can’t even say anything about Miller because they haven’t done anything with him. Literally, there’s a character that has so much more potential and like...all we really learned is that he hates every single planet on this monsterous vacation from Earth and he is still a loyal soldier.
So, yeah. Don’t fucking ruin Murphy’s character arc and his hard work of redemption. Already ruined everyone else and the damn final season and basically the show (rewatches gonna be hard). Let him be a hero who lives, let him be a dad, let him live a happy life with Emori and his child/ren. Let Murphy’s ending have all the fucking sense since nobody else had a single drop of it.
