important things i think you should know about my dog

her name is coco rose

coco as in the fizz in a freshly poured Coca-Cola

as my 11 year old self insisted

she likes to chase ice cubes 

if you lay down on your side she will snuggle up to your neck 

she either paws at you or sticks her snout underneath your hand to be pet 

her favorite toy is a stuffed pig 

she absolutely adores blankets and has taken ownership of every single blanket in the house 

she knows the names of all my family and some close friends, and gets super excited when we say them

she likes showers more than baths, and tolerates the occasional hair dry

getting combed/brushed is her FAVORITE. 

if she expects someone is coming home, she will run between the glass front door and the window upstairs to watch for them

she likes to watch dog videos on the tv

she adores car rides and will jump into any car with an open door

she sings along when any of us play an instrument
