Vigia and Nine conversation

There’s something that Vigia still remember until this day, the time when Octo tell him about this person who goes by Nine.
A sergeant in the task force 141, the one who almost kill Octo while he’s in a vulnerable state, the scar still in Octo body until this day, and it’s been on Vigia mind until this day.
Now.
He’s face to face with the person themselves. Nine
The task force 141 are having an alliance with Vigia unit for something important, and that make Nine there too with the 141
Now here he is, in front of Vigia, looking not sure of why Vigia is staring at him
“Uhm, sup?-”
Nine try to greet Vigia, but Vigia only glare at him. Nine look around a bit, the other already goes somewhere else, leaving him with Vigia only in the hallway
“You got something you want to say?”
Nine ask, ooking at Vigia while took out one cigarette and lit it up
“I do.”
Vigia answer, before continue
“I just want to say that… i know what you are.”
Vigia say, Nine sweat drop a bit before look away a bit before looking back at Vigia with a smirk and confused expression
“Heh, what are you even talking about-”
“I know what you fucking are. I know what you did to Octo, i held my suspicious on you the moment you step out of that heli”
Vigia cut off Nine, pointing at him. At this point, Nine knew pretending and acting won’t work on Vigia anymore, but he know what he can say next
“You don’t have any evidence of what i did though.”
Nine word stop Vigia, making Vigia stare at him
“I-”
“You don’t have the evidence. A scar won’t help you… what can you do? My whole team, task force 141 believed me more than some dude from other units they had just met. They believe me more.”
This time, Nine is the one that cut off Vigia as he smirks at Vigia.
Vigia at loss for word, Nine is right, he doesn’t have any evidence, just saying to the other would do nothing and there’s a chance it would instead backfire to himself, and with Nine having the whole task force 141 in his string control, it would not be easy to just walk and tell.
“Though so. Think about it again before speaking out loud about i.”
Nine said before he walked away, leaving Vigia all alone with his own thought. What he do now? There’s nothing he can do to prove what Nine actually are.
He so lost in his thought that a finger that poke his shoulder made him flinch before he turn around and there’s Octo, Octo gave him a little wave
“Oh, Octo. when did you get here?”
Vigia sigh before turn his body toward Octo
“7 seconds ago i guess, i tried to call your name but you didn’t hear it. Got some thought in your head?”
“Yeah”
Octo nod before offering his hand to Vigia, and Vigia take it, connecting their hand together.
“Let’s go, we got things to do, i’ll make you some tea after our job is done, what about that?”
“Sounds good to me”
Vigia leans his head to Octo shoulder, sighs again before they both start their walk, with their hand holding the other as a comfort for now
