I am re-sharing all of my “Coda”-related photo collage edits here for today’s somber five year “Coda”-versary. There are only three—the third one is included in my previous post—because it’s always been so very difficult for me to make “Coda” edits. It still is. 😞
The melancholia of it all absolutely devastates me. 💔😢💔😭💔
But I DO love and am very proud of these edits I created because they came straight out of my heart. ❤️
As broken as it is. 💔
The first collage edit that I am sharing here contains a gorgeous photo edit made by my friend @boltthrutheheart called “Carry Me Down.” It also includes the lyrics from the song that Norman Reedus said was his “set song”—his personal soundtrack—for shooting those tragic “Coda” scenes: “Drowning Man” by U2 (https://youtu.be/9S3N_rRTfWo). By reading those lyrics, nobody can tell me that Norman never shipped Bethyl... because we all know he did and still DOES. The second edit here builds on the whole “carry” theme associated with Beth and Daryl. 💑
Anyway, the song that has been providing MY soundtrack for today—November 30th, 2019—is “Angel by the Wings” by Sia. You can listen to it via this link AND read the lyrics—https://youtu.be/Az-EPAHKM3o. I think you’ll also agree that it has a tragic Bethyl vibe. *sigh* 😔
