So I just want to get this out there: I am a cat person literally by profession and a cat who got a mask stuck on its head would do absolutely nothing but stagger backwards in confused horror. It would never ever climb a goddamn steeple with that thing still on. This is a huge research failure in what is otherwise a totally plausible and realistic show.

Apparently cats can sense when people are sad, so maybe Arthur was always attacking Suzaku defensively. Trying to scratch or bite it away toughly rather than cozying up to him, thinking it might've given Suzaku the opportunity to think of something besides his ulterior motive for rushing into dangerous situations.
