August 11th New Moon in Leo
The New Moon in Leo on its own takes two very strong influences for success; and uses it to “test” us a bit. It does this by seeing the choices that we make; and in that process that sets in place an influence that will ripple through all of our existences. We are tested to see if we will choose the material path; or let the material path consume us. It is easy to do with the Leo energy, that loves the recognition and power that they feel from that.
Our other option is to take the more practical path. Certainly not as flamboyant as the material path; however, it is filled with its own innate rewards. The first can be like a torrid affair that burns out quickly; and the second is like making the choice to start a family. There will be responsibilities and commitments with the second; but it will also be something that sustains beyond fleeting pleasure.
Of course there is the aspect of bringing the charm and success into what is practical. While this is a much harder balance to be found, it can be done. When we see the truth of the responsible path, we experience real magic; and not just the illusion of temporary chemistry. If we are able to accomplish this, we then open the doors to our true power and ability to direct and guide our own life. We become the influencer, instead of the one influenced.
This New Moon is naturally abundant in success energy; we just have to choose if we are going to take the fleeting success, or the lasting success. No matter what, this is a great time for us to rise into command of our lives and to direct our own course of action; however, I still suggest you let your soul self be the aspect of yourself that is doing this.
Our successes during this portal of energy will best be found where we use our light to dispel lies and manipulation. We do this by standing in the soul self, and not getting swept into the drama that goes with deception. It comes from choosing what is real over and over again. It comes from walking down a different path than the “bullies” are on.
