First off, he's going to feel like he doesn't deserve someone as wonderful as you in his life.
But you won't let him get away with saying that and always remind him of all the reasons why you don't care about the notion of whether he "deserves" you or not and love him anyway.
Each time you do, he'll get a tiny bit flustered and shy, and he'll get a warm feeling in his heart.
But at the same time, a pang of worry and guilt will continue to rest in his mind.
Given time, however, he can feel those feelings fade, just a bit.
Louis won't see you as below him, despite you being a human.
Still, he will worry for you, as humans don't have the physical capabilities that a revenant holds.
You'll be able to notice it in his hesitance to bring you along on missions, and when you do, he'll keep a closer eye on you.
If you do prove to be a great fighter or thinker anyway, he'll be a little less cautious.
Still, it won't be able to leave Louis' mind that if something happens and you get severely injured or die, you won't be able to come back.
And if you aren't a fighter, he'll be extremely hesitant to bring you into any potentially dangerous situation.
Louis will also not want to act too overprotective or make you feel like he's controlling you.
So unless you try or want to do something that could end up being really dangerous, he'll only strongly advise caution.
He's afraid of losing you, he's afraid of losing his memories of you.
But each time, you always remind him that you'll stay with him as long as you can and that if he does forget, you'll still be there for him.
When you're back at the base, he'll often be working on something, but will always try to take some time to spend with you.
Sometimes, these moments are just talking about whatever comes to mind.
These conversations can be anything from small bits of chatter to excited rambling over a book.

Once he's finished, as long as you're in a safe environment, he'll likely want to stay in the same position.
He'll be rather quiet, mulling over what just happened.
Once he's snapped out of it, he'll go to find bandages as well as supplies to make sure it doesn't get infected.
He'll ask to take care of the wound himself, as he was the one who inflicted it.
As Louis does so, he'll thank you for doing that for him.
The first time, afterward, he'll be a little more cautious around you and will be mentally checking in on your wellbeing, making sure there were no aftereffects.
And he won't ever ask you to do so again, but secretly, he really enjoyed the feeling of being so close and doing something so intimate with you.

So he'll need you to remind him to actually take care of himself.
If you do, then he'll be eternally grateful.
Still, if he does fall asleep on you, he'll actually be pretty quiet.
He might snore ever so slightly and it's actually pretty cute when he does.
Louis also likely gets nightmares.
When he's in a nightmare, he'll thrash around or cry out names in his sleep.
And at worst, he'll cry.
At this point, it is best to wake him up.
Once he's awake, he would thank you and would likely delve back into dark thoughts.
He'll probably either want some space or would be extra clingy.
It really depends on the dream, so it can go either way.

- I’d say its one of of those things that builds up over time. He’s just enjoying your company, maybe teasing you in fights and even had helped you sort out how you feel emotionally after having your memories of your past returned.
- If a memory upsets you too much, or someone says something harmful or you feel you’ve failed at something and you get upset to where it’s clear you need a shoulder to cry on? Jack is one of, if not the first one there to offer to listen. After all, he may seem threatening but if you need someone, he’s there to help. At least that’s what he’d be thinking anyways.
- Then he may notice he gets this little twinge of something in his chest when he sees you giggling too much with Yakumo or sitting a little too close to Louis but he wouldn’t act on it because it isn’t anything serious. You’re just spending time with them and being friendly right?
- He may start to struggle to hide it as the feeling grows, especially if he knows he has no reason to feel the way that he does. After all, you two are friends and spending time with other friends happens, right?
- So when someone asks if he’s alright because he can’t hide it anymore and he tries to play off only for someone to say he’s jealous because he likes you? It hits like a ton of bricks.

- However if he’s having one of his hard days where he’s thinking back to Queenslayer or any of the events after it? He’ll often want to spend time with you. Just having you near while talking about what bothers him and getting support does wonders for him. Remember how I said he’s sensitive? This is one of the few times it comes out full force and you get to see that his cold exterior is only a mask for someone who cares and wishes that he wasn’t in such a cold reality.
- Once you’ve been with him for a while, even if he’s trying to keep you from worrying, you just KNOW when he’s having a bad day and when it’s time to pull him somewhere to snuggle up to him and just give him some love and affection.
- Jack is also very much one for his relationships being something that isn’t explicitly announced. Like if someone finds out? All he’d say is “Yes, we’re together.” and leave it at that. But if they’re pestering him about what he sees in you or why he began dating you or anything equally personal? Good luck getting him to talk about it. He’d sooner shut it down and tell them his reasons are his than spill anything.
- Same for PDA. He may do little romantic gestures that aren’t overly extravagant but if you ask him to kiss you in front of everyone? He’s more hesitant. He loves you but he also doesn’t like the idea of people seeing and judging every little bit of affection he gives. So to him, he’d only do what he’s okay with within his discretion.
- When he lets the mask drop outside of things that he’s worried about? You just get this warmth as you talk to him and be with him. His touches are gentle and his love of feeling your hands interlocked with his or your head on his shoulder is something that gives him so much peace. He’s definitely one where his biggest love languages would be touching and quality time because while he doesn’t mind getting you gifts to make you happy, nothing beats out spending time with someone you love.

Oooh with how tiny you are, he can’t help but to always want to pick you up! Yakumo is a GIANT and in comparison to you, he finds this too adorable and always enjoys having you in his arms! Not to mention how he has to look down at you when you try to be threatening to him, which makes him smile even more!
If he wanted to tease you? All he has to do is put your favorite snack just barely out of reach or hold it above your head and the cost of getting it down would be a kiss on the lips. Louis is fairly short in comparison to some people at base, standing at about 5′9. So with you being tinier than him? Even he couldn’t help but to find you adorable. That is, until you sat on his lap or snuggled up to him in bed. Then you would get a blushing mess who you can’t help but loving
Though he too would have fun with you being such a tiny person. Louis would occasionally poke fun at your height in a lighthearted and fun manner. From gentle taps on your nose to forehead kisses when you’re playfully angry, Louis is one who would just make it hard to be truly angry not because you can’t be but because his style of poking fun is so sweet that you just feel good about your size.
He would also be big on giving you even more cute nicknames than usual, all of them referring to how cute you are, partially because of your size, especially since even he would seem to engulf you in his arms when he’s holding you.

Lastly, after a hard day, Louis wouldn’t care if he was the little spoon, big spoon or just has you under his arm; the comfort he feels when he knows you’re safe is like no other feeling. It’s as if the stress and worry of the world is off his shoulders and seeing your tiny body curled up against his in your sleep makes his heart race a little bit more.
