Chuuya x Reader who is sweet and caring but argumentative
Awww you’re just adorable, aren’t you?
Chuuya is used to a very rough life and doesn’t see a lot of softness.
On one hand, it scares him, on the other, he feels like he could melt.
Seeing your sweet nature, he didn’t want to taint it with his presence or put you in harm’s way.
But, since you still insisted on staying by his side, he knew he couldn’t give it up.
Due to this, he was quite protective of you.
Mistakenly, he thought you to be non confrontational.
When someone made a remark about him while you were out together, you had no problem tearing them a new one.
Chuuya was shocked. Even if it was just verbal, you protected him.
It brought a warm feeling to his heart and a smirk to his lips as he later lightly questioned your sudden boldness.
Seems he had you wrong all along.
From this point onward, expect teasing regarding your deceptively sweet nature.
While he doesn’t really want to fight, Chuuya does enjoy seeing the spark in your eyes when you get fired up.
Not gonna lie, s/o, you certainly are looking mighty fine to him when you refuse to give in.
The duality is appealing as you carry both warmth and strength (a.k.a. stubbornness).
Still, ChuuChuu is argumentative.
It can get messy quickly but once it calms down, it also cleans up just as fast.
He’s a hothead, but rational and will certainly think through things.
Besides that, you’re his s/o.
Too freaking adorable to stay mad for that long.
And then during an argument, an idea from Dazai popped into your head.
Unlike some, you did somehow manage to survive mentioning his height.
He definitely pouted for quite a bit longer though.
Time to kick that pile of bandage’s ass.
