What kind of lover is: Yakumo Shinonome

• Even though he can be a little oblivious, he knows how much he loves S/O.

• He probably doesn’t notice how they feel at first, but once he starts catching those feelings too, Yakumo can’t help but be straight up with them and tell how he feels.

• First kiss probably happened right after confession, and he makes it as sweet as he can and savors every second of that moment.

• S/O will occasionally join him for a drink, it takes him a lot to get drunk, but if he does (if it’s possible for Revenants) he’s a bit cuddly and likes to make jokes. Will also say I love you a lot.

• If S/O is hurt in any way, Yakumo will defend and destroy anything that hurt them. S/O is his world, and he doesn’t want to lose anyone else.

• The rest of the group is pretty happy for the two of them, it tends to be hard to find happiness in times like these. Some of them remarking that it took him long enough to notice.

• Emily is at first a little sad, but doesn’t let it show to Yakumo. S/O eventually talks about it with her and after that they end up being really good friends.

• So good in fact that she tells them how much trouble they used to get into at the orphanage.

• Will always make sure S/O has all the support they need. He cares a lot, and doesn’t want them carrying something that weighs heavy on them.

• Would not be opposed to starting a family, he would be a little nervous at first since he didn’t have parents to look up to, but he ends up being an awesome dad anyways.

What kind of lover is: Louis

• This boy is a cuddler, especially if he’s reading a book with S/O. Will fully take advantage of having the sit in his lap, and resting his chin on top of his head.

• Loves holding S/O’s hand, will always try to weave his fingers into theirs every chance he can get

• Will get flustered easily if other PDA is done, he would usually like to have S/O to himself.

• Would also get more flustered if people are giving him shit for having hickies or being too loud. Especially if Karen joins them.

• In private, he will probably tell S/O anything and everything.

• S/O sees him geek out a lot if it’s about his research or one of the comic books that was brought back.

• His kisses are super soft and slow, he likes to treasure them so will do it for long amounts of time.

• Louis knows how the world can be, so he will spend every waking moment making sure S/O is safe, while also trying to achieve his goal.

• He does feel sometimes he doesn’t deserve his S/O, so they have to reassure him a lot.

• Before the relationship, Yakumo was giving Louis shit for pining all the time. But in all good fun, he just wants them to get together already!

• Louis would also attempt to flirt like one of the gentleman types he’s read about. S/O laughed, but they loved it even though he got embarrassed.

What kind of lover is: Jack Rutherford

• Jack is the type of guy who looks like he would be the daddy type, but no, he’s a teddy bear that doesn’t show it to someone unless they are really close to him.

• Won’t flirt outwardly or even tell you anything outright, but if you’re alone, he will open up quite a bit. Including a bit of teasing.

• Like, you two are the last to leave, guess who’s going to pinch your butt on the way without looking back? Yup, it’s Jack, acting like nothing happened.

• Doesn’t mind going out and doing things together, but a lot of times he would just prefer to stay inside, chat, and probably hold you a bit as he talks.

• He like to see everyone happy, which is why he will always check in and make sure everyone’s ok. But, this still leaves out on what he’s feeling.

• Jack would also need someone to help him if something happened to Eva.

• He would also be open to a relationship with someone along with Eva. Love you both regardless of anything.

• Not to mention be protective AF, like full on back hand someone if he needs to.

• Like, No one hurts my wives/husband and wife, NO ONE.

Scents that Code Vein characters would have

-Louis

• Definitely has a bit more of a book and paper smell to him since he loves to read, spends a lot of time planning things on paper most likely, and of course mapping out the areas you explore.

• Every so often though, you will catch the scent of the tomato and oden sandwiches that he loves to eat.

-Yakumo

• Alcohol can smelled from him and his breath on occasions, mostly sake though

• Gun powder or metal from making modifications to his gun when MC gives him the custom gun parts that they find

• Of course when he makes Onigiri, you can always tell from the smell of rice, seaweed, and whatever other ingredients he can find to add to them

-Jack

• He’s as much of an alcohol lover as Yakumo, but more of a Brandy or Whiskey type of guy. Depending on what he’s in the mood for.

• Always has some type of cologne on, mostly wearing it to impress a certain someone (*cough* *cough* Eva).

-Davis

• Being someone who keeps in shape, he usually smells like the protein powder that he adds to his drinks.

• Has also more of an Earth-y smell to him from all of his wandering and exploring in the depths.

• Also smells of metal from the suit of armor that he wears all the time.

-Murasame

• Oil and tools from spending most of her time working on weapons and fixing things that everyone brings in.

• Probably a bit of sweat too from working so hard.

• She would also have a liking of things that smell sweet, probably not anything too strong, but more of a soft vanilla or chocolate.

-Coco

• Spices, she always smells of spices since she is ALWAYS craving spicy foods (even though revenants don’t really need to eat).

• If not spices, probably more of a subtle perfume of some sort.

-Mia

• This girl loves her tea, she smells of it whenever she is brewing some for everyone after a long day.

• Also the organic soap that MC brings her, she loves using it because she doesn’t want the gift to go to waste.

-Eva

• A soft rose perfume that Jack probably got for her.

• Probably tea or some type of herbs from when she is hanging out with Coco and Mia.

-Io

• At first she has more of an earthy smell, she probably never knew too much about cleaning till after she met MC.

• Would probably take on the scent of whoever cleans her for a while, but would prefer the scents that MC enjoys the best.

What kind of lover is: Karen Amamiya

• Just like her brother, Karen is a bookworm, every so often S/O will catch her reading a cheesey romance novel (you know the ones).

• She will get super embarrassed about this, S/O will think it’s funny and adorable.

• If S/O is sick, there is no arguing with her, they’re staying home and getting all the care.

• There’s a chance Karen might get sick in the process of caring for S/O, but in her mind it was completely worth it.

• S/O will find Karen often falling asleep at her desk when she’s working, they will have to be on her about overworking at times, but Karen will only comply if cuddling is involved.

• She will also geek out about new discoveries in her field whenever she gets home, which is always adorable since Karen gets so caught up in it.

• Aurora may be wary of S/O at first, but accepts after a while. Will still have a little bit of the “you break her heart, I’ll break your face” type attitude from time to time.

• Louis is unsure how he feels about S/O at first, but he’s pretty accepting as long as Karen is happy.

• There will be times where Karen will feel like she’s not doing enough, even though she’s trying so hard to make sure everything is perfect. S/O reassures her every time that she is doing just fine, and will always lend an ear.

• If there’s ever a time where S/O is having insecurities, you better bet that Karen will be right there the whole time.

• No matter how much they may not want her to worry, she’s going to anyways and will not leave their side.

Mother Coco Headcanons

Makes me kinda sad to see no one really posting about her. So, here’s some of my Headcanons for Coco (warning: there will be some spoilers)

• Coco may seem a bit distant, but truth is that she is very soft at heart. Especially toward children.

• Will doze off every so often when she’s working, mostly just trying to remember things from her past and of course wondering if the fate of her son is true.

• Wouldn’t be opposed to having a kid again (if it’s possible), but would be hesitant because of her lack of confidence in being a good mother.

• Either way, she would love whatever child she would have, and would be very protective of them if she felt they couldn’t handle a situation.

• She would be very upfront with the kid, wouldn’t really let them get away with anything. There are a few occasions though that she may let them cause some hell for her S/O or some of the others in the group.

• Coco would introduce spicy foods to the kid when they were ready to handle it. Most likely something they bond over, and some others can’t match the intensity as time goes on.

• Would be found cuddling with her kid in bed after a long day.

• S/O probably found them the next morning sleeping together, saying it was “the most peaceful expression I’ve seen you have in a long time.”

• Coco would also have the kid help out with the shop when she felt comfortable enough to let them close to her tools. Still watches them like a hawk, but eventually.. EVENTUALLY let’s them do it on their own.

• There would be times she would see her son in her kid, which will make Coco tear up. As soon as her child ask, she just responds with, “It’s nothing, I will tell you when you’re older though.”

• She would not be ready to really tell them what happened all those years ago, when she does, Coco can’t help but cry. Her child would hold her close, say that she was trying her best, and tell her that they love her very much.
