I just realized why they named Cardia “Cardia” in the Code: Realize franchise… in my human anatomy class. Cardia is the first region of the stomach, and while it is not an exact anatomical region, it’s the region of the stomach near the Cardiac Orifice that has the most scar tissue from stomach acid. The writers of Code:Realize named a character with acid powers after an acid-damaged region of the stomach. I also think it just sounds like a cool name too lol.
