THERE ARE GHOSTS LIVING IN THE DARK  .          typical for a haunted mansion such as the one they live in  ,     daniel used to tell his siblings  .            he would giggle as emilie kicked his leg  ,     telling him to stop and     alex stared back with a glimmer in his eyes  .          not a fearless child  ,     but curious by nature  ;     always up to no good and running away from the maids  .          he would seek the things hiding in the dark  ,     long corridors the paths to the unknown    of which he never seemed to get enough of  .       nothing is to be feared in the dark  .        until there is  .
