I didn’t know about Maxwell’s quote, that definitely changes things a bit! I suppose this could also be the same sort of mindset that might lead Maxwell to, oh, get revenge on everyone he perceives has ever slighted him. Thanks for the insights folks, I appreciate it. I’ve been thinking about this stuff for months and I think something snapped in me yesterday, but I’m cooling off now. I shouldn’t take everything quite so literally. I still can’t shake this weird feeling about the whole story though, but I can’t do much about that.
