Something Blue

It was only hours before the wedding that everyone couldn't stop talking about. Tyler was part of the wedding party as a bridesmaid. It probably seemed silly to other people but he didn't care. Carmen was more than just his friend. She was like the mother he never had even if they were only a few years apart. She looked out for him in a way that others didn't, knew him inside and out and always supported him in just about everything he ever did. All it took was just one smile from Carmen to let him know that everything would be okay. With that all said, Tyler wanted to give Carmen the world on her wedding day. The only problem was that he didn't exactly have the money to do it. What he did have was a few bucks and a very creative imaginition. With Carmen so distracted but a million other things, he knew he could get it done and ready int time for when she would be getting dressed.

With a box under his arm, Tyler knocked on the door to the room Carmen was getting ready in. "Holler if your ain't decent." He laughed a little and slowly opened the door, keeping his eyes closed shut just in case. When he didn't hear anything back, he went ahead and opened his eyes, his gaze searching out the bride to be. His smile widened at seeing her. "Gosh, Carm, you could be a model. You look just perfect. But you're missin' one thing... or two things, I guess." Tyler lifted up the box and handed it over to her. "It ain't much at all... but... well, I hope you like what I did to them."
