Rodney/Cal: Rodney fidgeted in place, his eyes briefly taking in the friends and family who had come to witness him marrying the love of his life. There were nerves, but no doubt, no regret. He just wanted today to go perfectly, looking to his best man for a nod of support. "I have never loved someone so much in my entire life," he mumbled to Cain, taking a deep breath. A grin graced his lips as he remembered that night he picked her up and carried her all the way to the school. Obnoxious Ass Prick , she had grumbled, and it fell off his lips, the only theme they needed today, Whom you love dearly . He was about ready to shout for his best friend to come on, but she'd take her time. She always had. Cal stood a little distance away as Angel applied finishing touches to the bride, exchanging a look with her. He loved that woman as much as he did the day she wore a wedding dress of her own. Now their son who was in her belly that day was marrying this little girl, but she wasn't so little anymore. As Angel went to find her place, he stepped forward, "you are beautiful, Carmen. So much like your mother on her day. I still remember the way Landon's breath caught in his throat when he saw her. I know they are both watching, I always thought they'd stay here. They didn't miss it." He placed a gentle kiss on her temple, "are you ready?"
Carmen/Griffin: Little Dodger and Natalie, her beautiful godchildren, had gone down the aisle after the wedding party and now everyone was waiting for the blushing bride. Carmen's breathing was slow and steady, though her stomach was squirming around like crazy. This union was written in the stars, in their destinies. It was meant to be. Nothing could ruin this day. The sky above the Overlook was streaked with pink and gold as the sun was setting, lighting up the beautiful ceremony. With grace and confidence, the bride threaded her arm through Cal's, her eyes wet with tears. "Thank you, Cal." Those words held the utmost sincerity and warmth for a man with which she had much respect and love for. She hoped that he sensed what she was trying to convey as her lips brushed against his cheek in the little time they had. With one last squeeze of Angel's hand, she took a deep breath and felt her heartrate increase. "I'm ready." Music swelled softly in the background as her eyes glanced around at friends and family and even a few enemies. Her wolf pack jacket fit well over her mom's lace dress without obscuring its beauty, but it was her face that captured all the attention. Almost aglow with joy and love, she only had eyes for her soulmate at the end of that aisle. This was it. Everything had lead them to this, this moment. As her eyes locked onto Rodney's she felt something within her chest explode and her eyes well up with tears for the thousandth time that day. Unconditional love seemed to exude off of her as she made her way toward her other half, her obnoxious ass prick, to be joined forever. This was the happiest day of her life.
Rodney/Cal: Cal proudly took her arm and lead her towards his son, to give her away to him and him away to her. He had his doubts in Lainey and Angel's insistence that these two would end up here, but no other fate would have been more fitting. Rodney looked up from his feet as the music rose with the crowd. The journey to this moment dancing across his memory came to a complete halt when his eyes found her. Breath hitched in his throat, time stood still with the ceasing of the world's turn. She was beautiful when her hair was tangled up first thing in the morning and when she smelled like beer and cigarettes after a long shift. She was beautiful when she burned her finger on the pan trying to make breakfast and pouted like a disappointed child. She was beautiful when she was unreasonable and shouting and when she laughed. She was beautiful, and right now, there was no one in the world but them. Itching to run to her and marry her in the aisle instead, he stayed put and memorized the moment, mouthing the only words he could think, I love you.
Carmen/Griffin: I love you, she breathed back, her pace quickening to join him as quickly as was acceptable. Her eyes wouldn't leave his, couldn't. Not now, not ever. Those eyes that had enraptured her for as long as she could remember. Her life with him flashed before her eyes so fast it almost made her dizzy. It was impossible to feel any more, it seemed every positive emotion in the universe was twisting itself into knots inside of her stomach. She was marrying /the/ love of her life. The mate to her soul. The other half. Her partner in crime. Nothing would ever match the love of Mama and Papa Greaser. They had been through hell and back to get here and she'd do it all again if it meant that she got to wake up next to him every morning. Finally, finally Cal was giving her away and her sweaty palms were in his sweaty palms and her breath wouldn't come out right and her vision was blurry and that smile, oh that smile was a million miles wide. "I love you. I love you." She whispered to him over and over again, throwing up a quick prayer of thanks that she hadn't tripped and fallen on her face on the way down the aisle. Her heart was open and her mind was clear. This was forever.
Rodney/Cal: He barely heard a sound, other than the fierce pounding of his heart. There was a muffling about giving the woman away, and he heard his Pops say, "her parents, my wife, and I give them both away." It drew his eyes to his father briefly before returning to the bride, his bride. Then just like that, they were there. She was standing with him in front of their friends and family, gathered to witness the union of two people so in love and whatever else the man was telling the crowd. Suddenly, it was his turn. Vowing all his life to one woman. "I didn't prepare anything," he explained with that infamous boyish grin, "I couldn't. Nothing sounded right but I love you. The entirety of the vows can't just be saying that, can they? They have to include words like forever and better or worse, richer or poorer and sickness or health. Well, that's been our lives to this point, hasn't it? I've pulled you off ledges and danced with you in hallways when there was nothing left to say, you taught me how to really love selflessly and everyday, and forever has only ever meant you. I have vowed everything to you, all I am, every moment that I breathe. So these are my vows to you, Carmen Elaine Welch, I vow to do exactly what I've done for the last 21 years, and I vow to learn everyday forward how to do it better. I vow to be your best friend and a man you can be proud of, and I vow to catch you every time you fall because the world is only real when I hold you." He could feel emotions rising in his chest as his voice broke just a hint, his eyes filling with tears, "I love you, and I vow only to keep doing that while we figure the rest out as we always have. I just want to marry you today and be married to my best friend until time stops completely."
Carmen/Griffin: What the preacher was saying was all a blur. There was only him, only his words. Those words she'd remember forever, words that in the very moment he spoke them into the universe they were tattooed into her brain. Tears were flowing freely down her face as she fell in love with him over again for the thousandth time, just as she had done so when he was coming home from a long day at work, cracking open a beer, and laying down in her lap. Just like when he'd wake her up at 3 in the morning in the middle of a nightmare and rub circles into her back and tell her how much he loved her. His words were more than words, they really were a promise. A way to show his devotion and his loyalty and his unconditional love for her and it took a moment as she absorbed it all to respond through her speechlessness. "Rodney James, you are the /biggest/ pain in my ass. And you are everything." Her voice cracked. "You are my best friend. And I promise to correct you when you're being an idiot, and to fight with you about really stupid, irrational things, and to make you do the dishes, but most of all I promise to support you in everything you do, and to love you no matter what, and all those other things you already know... because you're my soulmate and you always know." She shrugged a little, voice cracking again as she finished simply. "And I love you. And my heart is open. And this is my vow of forever."
Rodney/Cal: His eyes never left Carmen, and every moment that passed he wished to cling to it all the more. He never wanted this moment, today, any of it to end. Tomorrow, they began a new journey. Today, they celebrated the last 21 years of one. Turning to his best man and ring-bearer, a smile lighting his face as he saw his godson not old enough to fully realize the magnitude of the moment he was apart of, "please tell me you forgot the rings," he murmured to the little one who just smiled and gave a little giggle. Rodney let Cain reach in his pocket for the rings before Dodger could hand them over like they practiced. Placing the rings on each others' fingers, he never wanted to let go of her. He had sworn nearly two years ago that he would never give up on her and never let go, this was his promise today as he placed the symbol of their unity on her finger. As she did the same, it was done. They had done it. "Yeah, yeah," he interrupted the formal declaration, "I married her. You don't have to tell me to kiss 'er." He leaned in and kiss her like he never had before, dipping her in his arms to roar of the Greaser (and a few Soc) crowd.
Rodney/Cal: Lifting Carmen up over his shoulder, his arm keeping her dress from flying up, that was for his eyes only. "What're y'all still looking at? We got a party to throw! Take your chair with ya or sit on the ground, I gotta take my wife back down the aisle..."
Rodney/Cal: Lifting Carmen up over his shoulder, his arm keeping her dress from flying up, that was for his eyes only. "What're y'all still looking at? We got a party to throw! Take your chair with ya or sit on the ground, I gotta take my wife back down the aisle..."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Running down the aisle with Carmen in tow, he laughed as he set her back down and kissed her once more, "you look beautiful, I love you, Mrs. Dodger." He took a step back, a mischievous smirk on his face, projecting his voice as he reached for a secret gift from Jenny, "I have a gift for my wife, or something of a gift before the band starts playing and I get my first dance with her. " Taking the ukulele, he began to strum the familiar beat, his gaze for only one woman, and serenaded his bride on their wedding day. "Wise men say, only fools rush in, but I can't help falling in love with you...."
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Ryan cheered loudly as Rodney finished his song to Carmen before heading straight to the beer. All the mushy stuff made him lose a little bit of his manhood and that's exactly what a beer would give him back.
Bria/Jamie: "No amount of beer's gonna erase those wedding vows from your memory, Voxing," Bria commented. "Trust me, I've tried before."
Bria/Jamie: "Do you think this is some sort of milestone?" Jamie asked, balancing Thomas on her lap. "'First Greaser Wedding' or something?" She turned to Seth with an amused look on her face. "Is this scrapbook-worthy?"
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "Bria, you are my sun and stars and rainbows and puppies," Ryan mocked playfully as he grabbed another beer to hand to the woman by his side.
Bria/Jamie: "Oh god, they've gotten to you already." She grabbed a bottle opener from her purse (she'd actually brought a purse to the event) and popped the top open. "For the love of God, please don't start spewing sentimental shit at me."
Allister/Seth: "That was more beautiful than Aquaman volume one number eighteen. Carmen and Rodney got nothing on Aquaman and Mera." Seth's smile was extended to it's fullest as he turned to Jamie with a bright smile. "Yeah. The first of many Greaser weddings. They are the best."
Bria/Jamie: "Shut up," she said, holding the bottle opener inches from his face. "There are no pockets on this dress. I'm wearing hosiery. It's a fucking nightmare."
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "You're so fierce in that dress," he teased again as he kept his eyes on her while he took another sip of beer.
Bria/Jamie: "The first of many? Do you think there more to come? Because I think Thomas is rooting for Brynn and Allister next. Aren't you, Thomas?" She nudged Thomas's head up and down. "Me too, baby, me too."
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen was grateful that Hailey had lent her some waterproof makeup because she couldn't stop crying that entire evening. She felt like she was gonna explode. Every vein was tingling. She was overwhelmed with love that she didn't have the capacity to express. Her husband was the greatest thing to ever happen to her and she just couldn't stop smiling. Couldn't stop whispering in his ear how much she loved him. And as he set her down and began to play their song, she brought a shaking hand to her mouth as a soft sob crossed the threshold of her lips and as soon as he finished she leapt into his arms and kissed him over and over again, caressing his face and saying 'I love you I love you I love you'. "You are the love of my life, Mr. Dodger." She murmured in between kissing him, her hands entangled in his hair. She pulled away and looked into his eyes, hand resting against his cheek. "We're married, my wonderful husband." She murmured.
Bria/Jamie: "Yeah yeah, fuck you. You don't see me making fun of your suspenders." Bria took a sip of beer, eyebrows raised and peering at him from above the bottle.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Cas took a break from his photographer duties to sneak up behind his little girl and snatching her up as she giggled loudly in her daddy's arms.
Allister/Seth: "Is that right little guy?" Seth looked into his son's little eyes with a bright smile before looking up at Jamie with a smirk. "I think we need to start a bet for those two. I'm thinking an Autumn wedding?" He winked as his smile widened.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "Hey I'm stylish today," he laughed, hooking his thumb around one of his suspenders.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Rodney couldn't get enough of this woman, and he would marry her all over again every day for the rest of his life. No matter what anyone thought about it, he would be a fucking sap today because he was madly in love with his Carmen.
Bria/Jamie: "We're all just relieved that you didn't show up half naked, Ryan. Or fully naked for that matter."
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "I thought about it but Rod said no."
Bria/Jamie: "My bet's on next winter, then. Brynn in a white dress, snow in her hair, the whole shebang." She looked down at Thomas and baby-talked to him the way only mothers did. "What do you think, huh? Summer wedding, maybe?"
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Tyler watched everyone with big, shiny blue eyes. This was truly a beautiful wedding and he was just happy to be there.
Bria/Jamie: "Couldn't have you overshadowing him on his big day."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Brynn had her arm entwined with Allister's watching the happy couple, and no war seemed to matter. Today was just about these two and their magical love. It was about the beauty of marriage and beginnings. All she could feel in this moment was hope.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "Yeah it was still hard not to even fully clothed," he joked.
Bria/Jamie: "I dunno," she said, setting her bottle down on the table. "Rod's always cleaned up pretty nice."
Allister/Seth: "It's on." Seth laughed as he leaned down, kissing Thomas on the top of his soft little head, before bringing his lips up towards Jamie's, kissing her softly for a brief moment. "I like winter, though. It's pretty. People look pretty in the winter, dontcha agree?" As he spoke a smirk extended on his face.
Allister/Seth: "But also-- I could see them having a spring wedding..." Seth bit down on his lip as he began to think. "Because of the whole new thing, the whole thing where everything is reborn... Damn, I don't know what to bet on anymore." He laughed as he looked towards his friends in front of them.
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen sighed and touched her forehead to his. "We should go mingle..." She murmured happily, kissing his nose and yanking him towards the tables.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "Don't I clean up nice too?" he asked, batting his eyelashes. Then his voice switched to a more high pitched, lispy voice. "You're right. He cleans up very nice, that hunk of burning love."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: With Dodger propped on his shoulder, Cain took Hailey's hand and made their way to the make-shift stage area. Once there, he handed their son over to her and faced the crowd. "Uh excuse me!" He shouted to get everyone's attention. He wasn't a shy person by no means but having this many eyes on him, had his heart pounding in his chest. His features stayed cool as a cucumber though. “First of all, I just want to say congratulations to the newlyweds!” He paused to let everyone get their cheers and hollers out. “Don’t worry my speech won’t take too much time, Carmen has threatened to cut my throat if I go on for too long and Rod has threatened to cut my throat if I mention anything about the bachelor party.” Cain grinned wolfishly. His nerves calmed down as he heard the laughter. “For anyone who doesn’t know who I am, where the hell have you been?” He laughed. “But seriously, I’m the best man, Cain Adams. During the service today, I couldn’t help thinking about when Rod and I were kids. I don’t think we ever really talked about marriage or babies or mortgages.” He smiled. “But we did talk about love. Granted the things we loved back then were arcades, throwing rocks off of the Overlook and blowing things up with cherry bombs. Come to think of it, we still love those things.” Cain chuckled. “The thing is, when Rodney loves, he loves with his entire being and I think everyone here can agree that no one loves Carmen as much as Rod does. I’ve stood side by side with Rodney for many years now, through thick and thin. He’s had my back even when I probably didn’t deserve it and I know that there’s no better man in this world for Carmen and no better woman for him. Their love is legendary and was written in the stars and I’m so damn proud to have both of them as not only my best friends but the godparents to my child, too. To Mr. and Mrs. Dodger!”
Bria/Jamie: Jamie tilted her head towards his and smiled into the kiss. "I think they'd look nice in any season. I'll bet that it'll happen within the year, though. A proposal if not a wedding." Jamie held Thomas up, trying to get him to balance on his feet while standing on her lap. "Lots of weddings for this little one to attend."
Allister/Seth: Allister was still sort of stunned by the whole wedding. He never had really attended a wedding, one with so much love. His smile couldn't be wider as he turned to Brynn, "So, what'd you think? Enjoying this Greaser wedding so far?" He asked as laughter seemed to bubble in his throat.
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen's eyes shown with tears for the upteenth time as she leaned into Rodney and squeezed his hand, beaming at Cain and giving a little howl.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Rod grabbed a beer and held it up to his best friend, his arm around Carmen's waist. Cain was all the best man, second in command, and friend he could ever hope to have found. He had taught him so much about life and acceptance and second chances, he taught him. As Carmen howled beside him, he chimed in with her. Their thank you to him.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Hailey took a drink of her water and clapped for the newlyweds and for her husband's beautiful speech before it was her turn as matron of honor. Raising her glass again, she waited for a few beats before she found a moment of semi-silence. "Do you know how hard it is to write a speech with a son who has learned to walk and move around the house? And when he's napping, I still have those lovely frequent bathroom trips. But here we go. Carmen and Rodney, it wasn't long ago that you two were my worst enemies and now you are my best friends, my children's godparents, and one of the greatest loves I've ever known. Even as an outsider watching the two of you in rumbles, in life, in everything. You two are the definition of partners. You don't just love each other. You share life together in every way. So cheers to your first year to all the years come and may we all circle around the Overlook in 50 years and celebrate this love again."
Bria/Jamie: Bria watched Cain and shifted in her seat. More than anything, she was proud--proud of Rodney and Carmen, proud of the greasers--but she couldn't help feeling like this was the end of an era. People were growing up all around her and if she didn't catch up, she'd be left in their dust. Still, her howls mingled with the rest of theirs, one of the loudest among them. Cain could always make a heavy speech sound lighthearted.
Allister/Seth: "Yeah, I mean they are a pretty good lookin' couple. They're like, well, they're like Green Lantern and Star Sapphire. One day. It's like Rodney and Carmen. I mean, when you see one you think of the other. I mean, they're great by themselves--But, at the same time you know they can even be better when they're together. They're stronger-- Would it be terrible if I said cuter too?" He laughed before listening to Hailey's speech, soon clapping and giving a loud cheer.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Brynn was beaming, taking in all the sights and the stunning view. Looking over at him, catching his eyes, she smiled all the brighter, "I've rarely seen anything so beautiful in my life. I never want to leave."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: As soon as Hailey was done with her speech, Cain moved over to his wife with a proud smile. "I love you so much."
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen clapped and touched her hand to her heart, mouthing an I love you to her sister and entwining herself with Rodney.
Bria/Jamie: "Cuter? How is that even possible?"
Allister/Seth: "It's like one you see one puppy, it's cute. But when you see two puppies, it's cuter." He began to laugh as he realized how ridiculous he was sounding.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "I love you," she emphasized each other as she kissed him briefly on the lips before looking at Carmen and mouthing back an I love you.
Carmen/Griffin: Griffin sat tuning his guitar off to the side, a grin on his face. He was beyond happy for Rodney and Carmen. Everyone once in a while he'd search the crowd to check on Nat or Bria and then went back to doing what he was doing. Tonight was a good night.
Bria/Jamie: "Point taken. Allister is kind of like a puppy, isn't he?" She turned her head to seek him out amongst all of the people and found him grinning, Brynn by his side. "Exactly like a puppy."
Allister/Seth: "Well, let's make sure you enjoy every second of tonight then." As Allister spoke, his smile beamed with an immense brightness. "Might I add, how gorgeous you look tonight." He said, laughter still bubbling in his throat as he leaned in to kiss her for a moment.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky stayed close to Rhi up until she literally shoved his shoulder away from her with a laugh. "Jeez, I'm fine, okay? You don't need to babysit me. Go off with your friends and... her. I'm fine. Really." Ricky put his hands up in surrender before doing what he was told. He moved closer to Madelyn, grinning. "So? What do you think?"
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "You look rather handsome yourself," Brynn replied, her laugh only cut off by his lips against hers. She couldn't have been happier than this moment right now with Allister and his..family.
Allister/Seth: "He does, doesn't he? I'm surprised he doesn't have a tail. It'd be wagging all the time... That's probably why he doesn't have one. It'd get annoying after a while." Seth chuckled as he watched the happiness reflect from his friends. "So, what do you think of the wedding? I know you went to Hailey and Cain's... But this one is sorta different... It's pure Greaser. Does it feel any different to you?" He asked comically as an eyebrow tilted upwards.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Madelyn smirked at Rhi's attitude. Waving her fingers at her as she walked away. Her smile brighten as Ricky stepped closer to her. "I was expecting it to be worse to be honest. This was actually respectable."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: With Natalie in his lap, Cas took a few more candids until she began to reaching for daddy's 'toy.' He laughed and shifted her, "alright, Tals, let's get a good one of your godmama. Look through this right here and Daddy will push the button," he whispered. "Ready?" "Yeah!" "We got it, baby girl." He set it down on the other side as he leaned in to get a kiss from his mini helper.
Bria/Jamie: "It does, actually. It feels less like a fight's about to break out, for one thing, though I am still a little concerned for the Socs here. Do you think having the kids around will be enough to prevent a brawl?" Jamie joked.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Tyler smiled over at Cas and Natalie. "Looks like you got a budding photographer on your hands."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "She loves to do what she sees me doin'," he laughed as he tried to still the now-squirming child. "You made a nice bridesmaid up there."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: "I gotta play now, babe but just a few songs before the Boat's radio takes over. I'll be back to dance with you and Dodge." Cain grinned over at his wife before moving to the stage, gesturing for Griffin to join him.
Allister/Seth: "Well, I mean I've got to. Now, that I know the difference between just wearing a shirt and jacket versus a suit. So, I feel like that just gives me some extra bonus points." Laughter filled his voice as his smile only extended. There was no hate here, no anger, it was just pure love and happiness. His heart could beat on that alone. "I'm going to say hi to those three over there.." He directed his look towards Jamie, Thomas, and Seth before allowing his eyes to meet Brynn's. "I mean, considering they've been spying on us." He quickly directed his look back to Seth, who diverted his eyes away from the couple and back onto Jamie with a playful grin.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Tyler smiled bashfully. "I know it's silly but... I don't care. I was exactly where I was supposed to be." His eyes went to the flower girls. "Nat, you wanna dance?"
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "We'll be waiting," Hailey answered with a smile on her face. "Doesn't Daddy look so good up there playing for everyone?" she cooed to her son.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky made a face, obviously teasing her. "Respectable, huh? Whoa. I'll be sure to let the newlyweds know. Or maybe I shouldn't bring too much attention to you. I think they're blinded with happiness and haven't noticed you yet. No sudden movements, okay?" He laughed.
Carmen/Griffin: Griff nodded and got up to join Cain in front of the crowd. "I believe a first dance is in order?" He called out, looking towards the newlyweds as he strapped on his guitar.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "I'll just blended in with the Greasers," Madelyn laughed as she tossed her hair in a playful attempt to make it look messy. "Better?"
Allister/Seth: "Oh yeah. First off, it's just Brynn and Madelyn. Brynn, well, she's Brynn. One of the greatest people in Tulsa and Madelyn seems really nice. She makes Ricky pretty darn happy. So, anyway, I don't think anyone is gonna start anything." Seth smiled widely before gesturing towards Thomas, "If not, Thomas will protect us. Won't you?" He smiled brightly at his son.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "I didn't think it was silly," Cas replied, "I can't imagine Carmen would want you anywhere else, but at her side." Glancing down at the little girl who looked so much like her mother, he smiled at her, "want to dance with Tyler?" An enthusiastic nod met the question as she slid off her daddy's lap and reached up for Tyler.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: "You're welcome to join us." Tyler grinned at Cas while holding Natalie's hand. "C'mon show us your best move."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky threw his head back and laughed. "Oh my god, you are the biggest dork in disguise."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "So happy we got that straightened out," Brynn joked, leaning closer to her boyfriend before following the gaze. She laughed and nodded, "we should go say hi, it'll be easier to spy on us if we're closer."
Bria/Jamie: Thomas nodded on his own and Jamie laughed. "Hey, who's that?" she said, gasping as Allister approached them. "Look, Thomas, it's Allister! Think you can say his name?" Thomas looked from her to Seth with his fist in his mouth and a puzzled expression on his face. "No? Well, wishful thinking," she laughed.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "I think you just bring the dork out in me," she giggled.
Allister/Seth: "Yeah, who knows what would have happened if we hadn't resolved that? Damn, I could have been wearing that for the rest of the weddings I would have gone to if it weren't for you!" Allister cheered playfully before bringing himself up onto his feet, extending his arm out for her. "Believe it or not, Seth couldn't say my name properly right away." He laughed as his eyes darted comically at Seth. "How's this little guys doing, huh? How's the little Mann first wedding?"
Allister/Seth: "Hey! It's not my fault. Your name is, well, it's--" Seth stuck his tongue out as his eyes met Allister's. "I think he's enjoying it, dontcha think?" He turned towards Jamie with a bright grin. "How about you, Brynn? How's your first Greaser Wedding?" He smiled brightly towards his friend.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "I leave the dancing to my little lady there," Cas laughed, "you don't want to see my moves."
Bria/Jamie: "Three syllables," Jamie chimed in, backing Seth up. "Difficult for anybody, really." She grinned and greeted both Allister and Brynn. "Guess our spying skills aren't too good, huh?"
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Brynn smiled at the couple, giving an animated wave to the child with a little laugh. Turning back to Seth, she was glowing there next to Allister. How far they all had come. "I am having the time of my life. I could definitely come to another of these," she teased, a bright smile breaking on her face again as she looked at Jamie. "Almost had us."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Cain and Griffin had already gone over what songs they were going to play so when the time came, they were ready. He nodded to his friend and started "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" by Frankie Valli. "You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you. You'd be like heaven to touch, I wanna hold you so much." As he sang, Cain's gaze moved to Hailey. "At long last love has arrived and I thank God I'm alive. You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you."
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Hailey swayed with Dodger as she looked at her husband. It was amazing to think how lucky they all were to have all this love surrounding them. Friends, family, even a few quote unquote enemies. Love was the biggest emotion here tonight.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Rodney snaked his arm around Carmen's waist as it was announced they would have their first dance. He pulled her in as the beat began, his eyes never leaving his beautiful bride.
Bria/Jamie: Jamie smacked Seth's arm so hard that it was practically a punch. "See!? We were right! More wedding bells on the horizon." Her eyes darted to Allister and then away in embarrassment. "I mean, maybe. Possibly? Way off in the horizon. You know, never know when people'll get married these days."
Allister/Seth: "Maybe next Autumn you will... Or winter... Or spring.. Hey, which one do you like best? Which one sounds more appealing to you?" Seth asked, nudging Jamie subtly. Laughter filled his voice as he felt the hit on his arm.
Carmen/Griffin: "How do you feel, Mr. Dodger?" She asked, one arm wrapped around his shoulder, the other hand in his, fingers linked as they swayed to the music.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "I feel like the happiest fucking man alive," he whispered in her ear.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Brynn started laughing, "oh, I don't know, which one is your favorite?"
Allister/Seth: "You two are ridiculous. Thomas is the only sane one in your house, I swear." Allister laughed as he picked up the little guy gently, "Which one do you like best, Tommy boy?"
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "Love is everywhere. I should've worn a mask," Ryan joked to Bria, shivering before he laughed.
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen grinned and nodded. "My cookin' that good?" She teased, knowing that it definitely wasn't.
Bria/Jamie: Bria kicked Ryan's chair to get his attention. "Hey, look over there," she said, nodding to where Seth and Jamie sat with Allister and Brynn. "Five bucks says Seth and Jamie get hitched before the other two."
Allister/Seth: "Oh, I don't know... I know you're ways, Sapphire. Don't think you can get past me." Seth playfully eyed Brynn before redirecting his attention to Allister and Thomas. His heart warmed as he watched Allister hold his son. Things really had changed. The best part was they had changed for the better.
Carmen/Griffin: Griffin wasn't much of a singer so he mostly offered quiet background harmonies, the real magic coming from his fingers as they nimbly moved through the chords.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "No, it's that bad," he joked back with a laugh, "it means I have excuse to eat my Momma's cooking for the rest of my life."
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "You're on," he nodded. "I think Allister will be hitting one knee way before. Seth and Jamie have a kid. Those things are expensive. Brynn's got the money."
Bria/Jamie: "Thomas likes summer," Jamie replied on behalf of her son. "Mother's intuition."
Carmen/Griffin: She hit his arm, continuing to move to the beat of the song. "You're a pain in my ass." She mumbled, kissing his lips.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: She smiled, shrugging playfully as she turned to Allister holding Thomas. She could have sworn her heart stopped for a full second. "I think summer would be good," she agreed with Jamie. For you. She could see an outdoor wedding like this for them, with Thomas able to run and play at the reception.
Bria/Jamie: "But Seth and Jamie have a kid, plus they seem practically married already. Sooner or later they're gonna realize that it just makes sense." She eyed Brynn critically. "Soc girl's got the money but I dunno if Allister's willing to use it."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "A pain in your ass you can't live without," he countered as he deepened the kiss with his bride.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky reached up to lightly brush back Madelyn's hair. "Wanna dance to the next song, you big dork?"
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "Exactly. They act married. What's the rush in making it official?" he countered. "And traditionally, which I assume Brynn is pretty traditionalist, the bride's family pays for the wedding. If it makes Brynn happy, he'll do it."
Bria/Jamie: "I was actually thinking winter," Jamie replied. "Some white snow and getting to see everybody else grumpy and freezing to death. It'd be funny, don't you think?"
Allister/Seth: "Summer, really? Well, I've got a Green Lantern intuition and it says you're full of it." He winked, playfully nudging Jamie before handing Thomas back to Seth. "Here's your little guy back. Don't want to walk away with him by accident."
Carmen/Griffin: "This is true," she murmured, leaning her forehead against his as the music washed over them. "I've never been more happy in my whole life, Rod. I love you."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "There is something about winter that has its appeal, it'd be good for a laugh for sure," She nodded, and Thomas would enjoy the snow.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Her eyes looked into Ricky's as he brushed her hair back. "I'd love to even if you keep calling me a dork. We'll work on the more loving terms of affection."
Allister/Seth: "Yeah and plus people look extra beautiful in the winter. Don't you agree, Allister?" Seth said while taking Thomas back into his arms.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "I love you, baby," he breathed, everyone else forgotten.
Bria/Jamie: "When did you become a wedding expert?" Bria asked, wrinkling her nose. "'Course she'd be 'traditional,' which means she's just gonna wait around until Allister asks. I bet Jamie'd be just as likely to pop the question as Seth."
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "But Allister is lovesick and he'll do whatever Brynn wants. You don't think she's already giving them those hints that she wants to walk down the aisle. Brynn has bride fever all over her. Jamie and Seth will be content with parenting for now."
Allister/Seth: "Yeah, but the people I know look beautiful in every season. So it doesn't matter." Allister playfully stuck his tongue back out at Seth. If he had to pick, because Seth was not being subtly, he would pick Spring. The trees are the prettiest and she would look so beautiful walking down the aisle with those cherry blossom trees blooming. "How about this band?" He stated while listening to Cain and Griffin, smiling brightly.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Cain grinned to Griffin; everything was going smoothly. Their next slow song was 'Something' by The Beatles. "Something in the way she moves... attracts me like no other lover. Something in the way she woos me, I don't wanna leave her now... you know I believe and how..."
Bria/Jamie: "Bride fever is a sign to run for the hills."
Carmen/Griffin: Griffin winked at Cain as they transitioned into the next song, his eyes seeking beautiful Bria out from the crowd as he gave her a boyish grin.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "For you. For Allister it's a sign that he should hit that knee."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Rodney made a motion for Cain and Griffin to take a beat when this song finished, he had another surprise up his sleeve.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Cain nodded to Rodney and stepped away from the stage, giving Griffin a high five.
Bria/Jamie: Bria looked over at the band and at Griffin, a small smile on her mouth as she shook her head. "If I'm ever as whipped as Allister, punch me."
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "With pleasure," Ryan smirked as he watched her watch Griffin.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "Be right back," he whispered, kissing Carmen on the cheek before jumping up on their half-stage. "Alright, this wedding comes with a field trip, so grab a few buddies. One should have a car and follow the Boat." Stepping down, he approached Carmen, pulling a blindfold from his pocket, "and you will need this."
Carmen/Griffin: Griffin grinned and high five Cain. "That fucking, rocked man." He told him, waving to him and Hailey before jogging over to join Ryan and Bria as Rodney made his announcement. "Alright! Field trip," he nodded happily waggling his eyebrows stupidly at Bria.
Bria/Jamie: "And the sappiness continues," Bria said, setting down her second bottle. "I don't even have a car, I always just used the Boat when Rodney didn't need it."
Bria/Jamie: "Any idea what's happening?" Jamie asked, looking to Seth and then Brynn and Allister for any clue as to where they were going.
Allister/Seth: "Where is Burt when we need him!" Seth laughed as he pulled out Betsy's keys from his pocket. "Who wants to be buddies?" He looked towards Jamie, Brynn and Allister. "No idea, babe. But we're gonna find out." A bright smile extended onto his face.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky grabbed Madelyn's hand. "C'mon... I promise this isn't where we sacrifice Socs or anything. Probably." He laughed a little then tensed when Rhi made her way over to her brother and Madelyn. She quietly got into the backseat.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Brynn shook her head, "does he usually do things like this?" She asked the boys as they headed to the car, "we can be buddies!"
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen smiled a little uncertainly, taking the blindfold and tying it around her eyes, stomach flopping with excitement. She reached for his hand and sighed warily as her mind raced with the possibilities of where they could be going with all their wedding guests.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Tyler turned to Cas. "Can I go with y'all?" He was still holding Natalie from their dance.
Allister/Seth: "He's a spontaneous guy, what can I say?" Allister laughed as he entwined his fingers with Brynn's as they all followed Seth to Betsy.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "I would hope so," Madelyn laughed. Her eyes followed Rhi for a moment as she got in the car. She did not like her attitude. "This is a wedding. Tell your face that," she told Rhi as she got in the front seat.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Rodney carefully lead the blindfolded bride to the front seat of the Boat before running around to the driver's side, shouting back, "if ya ain't got a spot, catch a ride with us!"
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Cas nodded, "of course," as he gave the visual okay for his brothers to ride with Avery. "Got a few spots now anyway, don't we, Talie?"
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: "I was told that if I didn't have anything nice to say to you, to not say anything at all." Rhiannon mumbled back, rolling her eyes.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky sighed out loud. "Okay... so let's go then." He started the car and waited for Rodney.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "Glad we have to resort to things we learned in kindergarten," she spoke back with a condescending laugh.
Carmen/Griffin: Griffin turned to Ryan and Bria. "Y'all can ride with me if ya like."
Allister/Seth: Seth opened up Betsy, putting Thomas in the middle car seat. "You ready for an adventure, buddy?" He whispered, kissing his son's cheek as he heard him giggle. "Let's go!" He shouted to his friends as he opened the passenger door for Jamie before running around back towards the driver's seat.
Bria/Jamie: "Come on," Bria said, grabbing Griffin's hand with hers. "Let's see what the captain has in store for us."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky shot at look at Madelyn. "C'mon, stop."
Allister/Seth: Allister opened up the back door for Brynn before running around to the other side and hopping in. Thomas in between him caused his smile to extend, "Hey little Mann." He whispered to the child, watching as his face light up.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Rhiannon scoffed. "Just let me out, I'll go with Griffin or someone else..."
Bria/Jamie: "I keep telling you that you don't have to do that," Jamie said, getting into the passenger seat and turning back to make sure that Thomas was properly buckled in. "Everyone alright back there?"
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Ryan scrunched his nose but followed the lovebirds.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "Sorry, sorry," she spoke to Ricky with apologetic eyes. "Rhiannon, you can stay. I won't talk to you. I promise."
Allister/Seth: "And I keep telling you that it was the way I was raised and that I want to and I love you." Seth looked over towards Jamie, sticking his tongue out at her before smirking as he heard the roar of Betsy's engine.
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen groped around for her seatbelt, tapping her food in anticipation as she fiddled with her wedding band
Bria/Jamie: "Hey, we have company," Jamie whined. "But I love you too, you dork." She watched Allister do the same thing for Brynn and nearly laughed out loud. It was obvious to see why they were best friends.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Rod started up the Boat once everyone found themselves a ride, "no peaking," he warned, a smile tugging at his lips. Ever since he had gotten that yes, he knew exactly what his savings would start going towards. Rallying up a few friends along the way, he knew she'd never forget this moment. Hitting the gas, he lead the way. It wasn't far, and it was but a moment and they were there. Parking the car in front, he ran around to open Carmen's door and help her out. Motioning for everyone to gather around, "A year and one month ago, I asked you to marry me. From that very next day on, I prepared to take this step by step with each little bit of cash and help I could manage. Tyler and Cain helped a lot, so this is from them too." As he untied the blindfold, he whispered in her ear, "welcome home, Mama. I love you."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Rhiannon glanced out the window and sighed, "Great." Ricky's jaw was clenched so tight, his teeth were close to shattering. He wanted his sister and Madelyn to at least not hate each other but that didn't seem like it was going to happen.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "There's something Cain and Ryan helped me with inside," he prodded, pushing her forward.
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen blinked, letting herself numbly be pushed forward and into the house, her mouth hanging open. She was overwhelmed... In a good way.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: He couldn't stop smiling at the expression on her face, guiding her inside with the others following behind them. "Do you recognize that?" He pointed toward a hand-made cabinet, "I asked Cain to help me with that, and Ryan and I, well, we did the stuff of questionable legality. It's yours." They had retrieved the door off her old locker at the school, in that same hallway, to use as a door on a cabinet she could have for all of time. "I thought it might be nice to have a bit of the memory with us."
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen's eyes roved around the house and over Rodney and the cabinet and it was just all too much as the tears started again. "Stop making me cry," she mumbled, wiping at her face and whirling around to jump into his arms as joy exploded within her. "This is... The best.... I can't..." She shook her head, knowing that no words were needed. She simply hugged him as tightly as she could to her, happiness filling her up to the bursti g. "I love you." She said tremulously.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: He wrapped his arms around her, holding her as a laugh escaped him, "I love you, baby."
Carmen/Griffin: She leaned into his embrace, shaking her head as she stared around. Her knees felt week. This was her home. Well, her second home. Rodney's soul is really where she'd made her home. With him is always where she would belong. "I love you too, Rodney... So much." She turned around to Cain and Tyler and Ryan. "You better come hug me," she told then sternly, motioning then all towards her.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Ryan took a step back but who could deny Mama Greaser. With a slight shrug, he stepped towards her and gave her a brief hug. "Love ya, Mama"
Allister/Seth: Following the Boat, Seth stopped behind the parade of cars. A bright smile spread across his face as his eyes registered what the big surprise was. "Wow." He muttered, almost breathlessly.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Cain moved in to give Carmen a hug after Ryan. "You better take good care of him, okay?" He laughed a little.
Carmen/Griffin: "Well I'll be damned," Griffin muttered, whistling in approval st the house as he stuck his hand in Bria's back pocket.
Bria/Jamie: "Yeah," Jamie agreed, eyes wide. "Rodney really does go all out, doesn't he?"
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "You lot are all welcome here whenever you need a place to stay, our home will always be your home." He looked around at his Greasers, and he knew he never wanted to share this moment with any other group than this one around him.
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen beamed at them and nodded firmly to Cain, completely serious. "Always."
Bria/Jamie: "You didn't know about this either?" Bria asked, looking up at Griffin. The place was....stunning, better than the Crap Shack by a million times. "It's...wow."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Tyler practically threw himself at Carmen, his eyes red-rimmed with holding tears back. "I'm so happy you're happy." He smiled up at her face. "Hey, there's one more little thing." He pointed off to a corner in the house. "I made that for you but maybe don't like put your full weight on it... just in case." He laughed.
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen kissed Tyler's cheek, touched by his giving heart as she always had been. She loved him so much. A moment later the bride nodded in agreement with Rodney, her arm around his waist as she leaned into him yet again. "You're our family. Our doors will never be locked.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Madelyn leaned against Ricky's car, not wanting to get too close and spoil the moment that the Greasers were having. She crossed her arms across her chest as she smiled at the sight.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky's eyes caught Madelyn's and he grinned at her, winking. He was glad that she got to see this side of how the Greasers could be.
Carmen/Griffin: Griffin shook his head, his heart heavy and happy as he rested his chin on Bria's head lightly. "It's pretty damn amazin'."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Brynn wrapped her arms around Allister, watching these people, this family coming together. It wasn't much, but to them, it was everything. Money didn't matter here, only love did. Love and family. "This is beautiful," she breathed.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Her gaze found Ricky and she smiled even more at him than at the house. Stepping closer to him, she grabbed his hand.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Off like a shot, Natalie came running through the sea of legs like her own obstacle course, giggling as she took off through the house. "She's making it her home away from home already," Cas mused.
Allister/Seth: Allister smiled brightly as he felt Brynn's arms wrapped around him. He kissed the top of her head as he held her close to him. Everyone he loved was here. Everyone he cared for. Everyone seemed so happy and his smile radiated the warmth he felt. "I love you." He whispered to Brynn as he continued to admire his family.
Bria/Jamie: "God." Bria looked away as Carmen and Rodney finished telling them that the house was always open to them. "They're gonna make me cry," she said, looking towards the sky and blinking rapidly. "I don't fucking do crying in public."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Tyler grinned over at Cas. "She knows everyone here loves her."
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen grinned as Natalie ran off, enraptured by the scene of a child running through her home. "She's more than welcome," Carmen murmured, gaze turning back to Cas. "And so are you and the boys, Mr. Photographer."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "I love you," she murmured, kissing him on the cheek before turning back to watch these amazing people. They were so beautifully human, all of them. This was real.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky squeezed Madelyn's hand in response. "You okay?"
Carmen/Griffin: Griffin kissed her the top of her head, trying to hide his grin. "Your secrets safe with me."
Allister/Seth: Seth smiled brightly as he held Thomas while his right hand held onto Jamie's. "This is so beautiful." His voice was completely serious as his bright smile seemed permeant to his face.
Carmen/Griffin: He stepped back after that, knowing she liked her space and striking up a conversation with Rhiannon.
Carmen/Griffin: "Enjoy the wedding, Rhi?"
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "You guys have always taken care of her, she knows she's safe and loved here," he replied, smiling back as he still kept a watchful eye on the toddler. "Thank you," Cas told the beautiful bride, "she loves you and Rodney, and we'd be happy to visit."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Rhiannon nodded, grinning back at Griffin. "It's been really nice seeing everyone. Today has been pretty perfect. Ya'll did such a good job playin' up there."
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "I'm not used to see the Greasers like this. It's different," she told Ricky with a soft laugh, her eyes scanning the yard before returning to Ricky.
Allister/Seth: Allister looked down, watching Brynn for a moment as she watched the Greasers. She didn't look unhappy or as if she didn't want to be here. She looked like she was actually happy to be here, she was enjoying his friends, his family. His smile only extended. His heart was swelling with joy.
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen beamed at him and turned back to look up at her husband. "Go got fuckin' married today. And this is our house." She told him happily, arms snaking up around his neck.
Carmen/Griffin: "Yeah its been a while, ya loser. Come 'round more often." He nudged her with his elbow and gave a wink. "Thanks. I'm pretty great if I do say some myself."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "We fuckin' did, Mrs. Dodger," he repeated, kissing her again. He'd never forget a second of this day.
Carmen/Griffin: She still got butterflies in her stomach when he touched her and she knew she always would. She'd fall in love with him over and over again every day for the rest of their lives.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky nodded back. "We aren't always fighting and getting drunk. I mean, like 90% of the time, we're doing that." He laughed. "I'm really... um... glad you came today."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Rhi grinned up at Griffin. "Wow and so modest too. Only you would call someone like me a loser for not coming around more." Actually she kind of liked that about him. He didn't pity her. She couldn't stand when people treated her like she was going to break.
Carmen/Griffin: "Someone like you? You're a damn Greaser and if ya don't start visitin' us I'm gonna kidnap you from the damn hospital."
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Madelyn knew exactly what he was trying to say and gently leaned in to kiss him softly on the lips. "I'm glad I came today too."
Carmen/Griffin: Entwining her hand through her husband's, Carmen pulled then out of their new house and back to the Boat. "Back to the Overlook, guys! It's time to celebrate."
Bria/Jamie: "I'm sorry, baby," Jamie said as she placed Thomas back into his baby seat. They were headed back to the Overlook and being buckled in and let out and buckled in and let out again so many times was beginning to make him cranky. "It won't be long, and then you can run around all you want. Or...crawl would be more accurate, I suppose."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Rhiannon smiled at Griffin. She didn't doubt him at all. "Well, I'm home for now. Hopefully I won't have another stay there but if I do, I definitely want you to kidnap me from that place."
Allister/Seth: Opening the door for Jamie, Seth winked as he leaned in and kissed her cheek. "We'll be staying in one place, bud. I promise." He smiled as he started up Betsy as he watched Allister open the door for Brynn and run around to the other side and hop in. "Off we go, gang. Back to the Overlook!" He cheered as he followed the rest of the cars.
Carmen/Griffin: Griffin winked, his hand sliding around Bria's waist as they walked to the car. "You got it,"
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Leading the way back, he saw the Overlook come into view, pulling the Boat in park but he didn't move. "We just got married right there, baby," he glanced over at her, "look at us, a married couple now."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: This time around Rhiannon went with Griffin and Bria, just to get away from Ricky and Madelyn.
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen grinned over at him and squeezed his arm. "Sounds so surreal to say that." She murmured, contentedness washing over her.
Bria/Jamie: Bria turned to Rhiannon with an appreciative glance. "You don't like her either? I was starting to think I was the only one."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky placed his hand on Madelyn's thigh as they made their way back. "So... we're alone now."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Once they got back to the Overlook, Cain let Dodger walk around, keeping close to him. "One day, you and all your friends will hang out here, just like your old man did."
Carmen/Griffin: Griffin shook his head. "I thought they were just fucking."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: "I want to stab her eyes out." Rhiannon laughed. "I don't get what Ricky is thinking at all."
Allister/Seth: Allister turned, smiling over towards Brynn with a bright smile, a small laugh tickled his throat as he spoke, "I hope you brought some good dancing shoes, because we're about to dance the night away." He laughed softly while his hand was taken by Thomas, who occupied himself with playing with Allister's fingers.
Carmen/Griffin: Biting down in her lip to contain the squeal threatening to escape. "It's too bad we couldn't afford a honeymoon..." She said nonchalantly, adjusting her wolf pack jacket.
Bria/Jamie: "That makes two of us. Are soc/greaser relationships the new 'thing'? It's horrifying."
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "Mmhmm," she hummed as she looked over to Ricky. "The blindfold makes it kinkier," she laughed.
Carmen/Griffin: What the fuck was the first sentence. What...edit that in your brain omg. ))
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "Let's do it again," he joked, leaning over to kiss her neck, stopping at her comment. "I know, baby, I'm sorry," he murmured softly, "we just lock the doors for a week?"
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky moved up her thigh a bit. "Yeah?" He laughed a little. "Are you having a good time?"
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Hailey watched Cain and their son walk around the Overlook. Rubbing her stomach, there were so many memories here and so many more to come.
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen laughed and kissed him softly, teasing him a little by nipping at his lip. "Just for fun... If we could go on one... Where would you choose?"
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: "Especially after what they did to him." Rhi's voice took on a sadder tone. She wasn't worried about what Madelyn would do to Ricky but about her friends. What if they wanted to teach Ricky some kind of lesson. "I'm trying to talk some sense into him."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Even though the party really hadn't even started yet, Tyler already went around to clean up after everyone.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "Oh yeah," she nodded. At his question, she smiled more. "I am having a great time. Who knew a Greaser wedding could be so much fun? Though I think you had something to do with that."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Brynn moved the blindfold around her neck once the car came to a stop, looking over at Allister, "they are not, but I will dance the night away with you and deal with the blisters on my feet tomorrow." She smiled as she watched Thomas play with Allister's fingers, she loved seeing him with the baby.
Carmen/Griffin: Griffin nodded grimly, thinking of Grayson and the countless others that had been jumped for this or that. Not everyone was as nice as Brynn or Hailey. "Yeah, maybe I'll mention something too..."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "The bedroom?" Rodney offered, "we'd never have to leave..."
Bria/Jamie: Bria's face fell at Rhiannon's words. Somehow, she'd almost forgotten what had happened to him, what they'd done to him. Not just they, but his so-called best friend. She glared at the cars ahead of them with renewed anger. "The fact that he'd still entertain any of them after Dean blows my fucking mind."
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen trailed her fingers up his arm. "I was thinking... California?" She shrugged a little, trying not to just blurt out what her surprise was. "Ya know you haven't done my garter yet... "
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "You always the clean up crew?" Cas asked, Natalie wrapped around him almost like she was getting tired. He was sure she'd be off again once she was done cuddling.
Allister/Seth: "I've got blister cream!" Seth shouted from the front as he parked Betsy. He then looked at his friends and realized it probably wasn't the loveliest thing to share. "Well, I mean, it was for when I played the drums all day. I'll let you borrow it Brynn." He laughed as he got out and ran around to open the door up for Jamie, a warm smile on his face as he did so. After Allister and Brynn had hopped out, he undid Thomas from the carseat and walked with his friends towards the main festivities. "Dancing is my favorite." He spoke up, a bright smile extending onto his face.
Carmen/Griffin: Griffin reached over and rubbed her knee absentmindedly, staring out the windshield as he parked the car.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "California," he repeated with a smile, "I'll never forget that trip. If we could go anywhere, that's where I'd go." His eyes trailed down her leg, "aren't we supposed to do that for the guests or somethin'?"
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Tyler smiled up at Cas and shrugged his shoulder. "It's not like I'm doing anything else, ya know?" He tossed some empty cups into the trash. "I don't mind, really. Just part of my bridesmaid duties, I suppose."
Bria/Jamie: "Hey," Bria started, slipping her hand hand under his and intertwining their fingers, "am I allowed in on this kidnapping plan? I like her."
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen rolled her eyes a little, a soft smile on her lips. "Just do it here. There's something with it that's important."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Rhiannon laughed a little. "You can be the driver."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Brynn laughed at Seth's enthusiasm over the blister cream as she climbed out of the car, "if I need some, I will come to you."
Carmen/Griffin: "getaway driver. that's hot." he flashed her a crooked smile.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Cain held Dodger's hand as they walked back to where his wife was sitting. "Go to mama, Dodge." The baby laughed and eagerly made his way to Hailey. "Hey, my love. How are you feeling?"
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Cas nodded, it made some sense. "need some help? I got one semi-free hand to help," he offered, as he readjusted his hold on his daughter. "What you did back there with the house was wicked, by the way. You like that stuff?"
Bria/Jamie: "It's my true calling, I think. I'll be the next Bonnie Parker."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "A'right, babe, no reason needed to reach under your dress," Rod teased her as he lifted her dress, quirking an eyebrow at the money there, "what's that?"
Allister/Seth: "Hey Thomas, wanna say hi to Uncle Cas and Uncle Tyler?" Seth asked with a large grin as he watched the two clean up. The small boy nodded and Seth's face brightened. "Hey guys!" He cheered as he approached the boys. "How're you guys enjoying the wedding? I see Natalie's already a little tired?" He laughed softly.
Carmen/Griffin: She grabbed it and held it out to him, a grin spreading across her face. "My blood-sweat. I've been workin' my ass off for that." Her eyes sparkled as she leaned toward him. "It's honeymoon money. My wedding present. We're goin' to California, baby."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: "How can I say no to an extra hand?" Tyler frowned and picked up a few empty beer bottles. He didn't want any of the kids getting near that. "I love that kind of stuff." Tyler nodded earnestly. "I learned more about building and repurposing things last year. I think it's pretty boss to take something that was basically garbage and turning it into something useful." Tyler turned at the sound of Seth's voice and grinned. "Thomas! Aren't you so handsome today? Just like your daddy, huh?"
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Hailey knelt down to her son's level before she pulled him up with a playful grunt. "You are getting too heavy for Mama to carry you," she teased Dodger as she tapped his nose. Looking at the love of her life, she smiled. "I'm a little tired but I'm having so much fun."
Allister/Seth: "Thomas this is where you nod and agree." Seth laughed as he smiled brightly at his friends. "How're you guys doing tonight?"
Carmen/Griffin: "C'mon," he patted her leg and opened the door. "Let's go find us a table and start drinkin'."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky finally pulled up to the Overlook. "All right, we're here."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "What?" He repeated, it didn't seem to process for a long pause. "We're going to California??" He cupped her face in his hands, kissing her deeply, "are you fuckin' serious?!"
Carmen/Griffin: She kissed him back fiercely, nodding and rubbing her thumb against his cheek. "Yeah, baby, we're really goin'.
Bria/Jamie: Bria nodded before throwing her heels off. After a moment of staring at her stockings she shrugged them off and tossed them aside too. "Remind me never to wear those again," she said, grabbing her handbag ungracefully. "Ever."
Carmen/Griffin: Griffin made a mental note of it and nodded, gesturing for Rhi to go with them as they navigated parked cars and people.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: He listened as Tyler explained, "that sounds awesome, just a hobby or--" A brighter smile broke on Cas's face at Seth's voice coming toward them, "I think she's faking," he joked. "She got her drama streak somehow but I won't tell you where."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Rhiannon made her way back to the Overlook. She sat down at the nearest table. Even though she was feeling better, she knew not to overdo it. She just watched everyone else with a small smile on her face.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Madelyn took off the blindfold and got out of the car. "I'm going to go attempt to mingle," she laughed as she began to walk around the Overlook, taking in the beauty of it.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Kissing her over and over, "I. love. you," Rod muttered each syllable with a kiss.
Allister/Seth: "Aw, well who knows? Maybe her calling is acting?" Seth laughed as he picked up Thomas who waved at Natalie. "How've you guys been enjoying the wedding?"
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: I imagine Thomas being such a cute little chunky baby lol)))
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Tyler started to carefully pick up the pieces to a broken beer bottle. He glanced up at Seth. "Today has been so perfect. Carm looks radiate and Rodney hasn't stopped smil-- ouch!" He frowned down at the cut on his index finger. "Oh shoot." He stood up and used the handkerchief in his pocket to wrap around his finger. He laughed a little. "Story of my life."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "Wouldn't surprise me at all," he laughed as Natalie turned her head towards the other baby, a shy smile on her lips before burying her head against Cas's neck, "no wedding could have been more fitting of Mama and Papa Greaser."
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "Hailey," Cas turned around to call out to her, "do you have a bandaid?"
Allister/Seth: "Ah, that looks like it stings!" Seth made a face as he watched the cut, he then turned towards Hailey with a bright smile as Thomas did another wave towards her.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "Of course, let me get my bag from the car," she answered back, taking her son with her. Placing Dodger in the front seat so both hands were free, she still kept her arm across him so that he wouldn't hurt himself. Finding the bandaid, Dodger was brought back up in her arms as she made her way towards the boys. "Here you go. And some neosporin. You okay, Tyler?"
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen kissed him back, handing him the garter with a wink. "For safe-keeping," she told him before clambering out of the Boat and making her way towards their guests, knowing he'd catch up.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: "I'm fine." Tyler looked slightly embarrassed. "Thank you, Hailey. You look gorgeous, by the way." He cleaned off his cut again before wrapping the bandaid around his finger. "There ya go. All better."
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: "Thank you, Tyler," she smiled. "You look handsome too."
Allister/Seth: Thomas waved to Dodger causing Seth to laugh as he watched Hailey save the day once again. So many superheroes were hidden in Tulsa. His smile only widened with the thought. "You do look beautiful. You and your family." He said warmly as he looked down at Thomas who just seemed to smile.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Could he send people home now? He was so going to enjoy the wedding night. Following quickly behind, grabbing her around the waist, "so when do you throw the bouquet? I need a good girl fight to make the evening all the more special," he teased.
Carmen/Griffin: "Well honestly we can do that now and then serve cake?" Her fingers threaded through his by second nature as they walked.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: "Girl fight!" He hollered, "or I mean, she's throwing the flowers."
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen rolled her eyes and made her way to the front, bouquet in hand. "Okey doke, y'all know how this goes. All unmarried ladies try and catch, whoever gets it is supposed to get married or something. We'll do cake after this."
Allister/Seth: Seth turned his attention towards Carmen, his smile extended as he found Jamie.
Allister/Seth: Allister smiled brightly, raising his eyebrows playfully at Brynn as they went from Carmen's bouquet back to her.
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Ricky nudged Madelyn. "Well, go on."
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: Rhiannon made her way over. It seemed kind of fun. Not that she would ever get married.
Hailey/Ryan/Madelyn: Madelyn looked at him. "I think that really meant all unmarried Greaser girls," she laughed.
Carmen/Griffin: "Everybody ready?" Carmen smiled and turned around, closing her eyes and throwing the bouquet over her head. She didn't known if that myth really worked, but just in case she put good thoughts into that throw. She wanted someone to be as happy as she was that day. Whirling around to see who caught it her eyes scanned the gathering of girls.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Brynn looked over at Allister, an unbreakable smile on her face as she stood with the other girls not a single thought to sides. As the bouquet was sent into the air, she darted forward to catch it and by some miracle she felt it in her grasp. A slight jerk in her hand and she glanced up and found Jamie in the same position. Each with one hand on the bouquet. A laugh burst from her at the luck. "Share it then?"
Cain/Tyler/Ricky/Rhi: "Fight for it!" Cain yelled, laughing.
Bria/Jamie: Jamie eyes tracked the bouquet and she stepped backwards to follow it, nearly knocking someone over in the process. Her tunnel vision closed in on it and she reached out, her hand brushing both the bouquet and someone else's grasp. Her eyes widened for a moment and she turned to find Brynn in the same position as her, mirrored. "Does this mean we're getting married to each other?" she joked, smiling. "Of course."
Allister/Seth: Seth's jaw dropped slightly as laughter filled his voice. To be honest, he wouldn't tell anyone this, not even Allister, but he was happy Jamie had caught it... Well co-caught it. Maybe it was a sign? He then turned to Allister who had the same exact expression he had on and the boys shared a soft smile with each other. They were growing up. Really growing up. "Go Jamie!! Woot!" Seth cheered as he looked down at Thomas, "Cheer for Mommy!" He said softly as Thomas waved at Jamie.
Carmen/Griffin: Carmen smiled at Brynn and Jamie, giving them a wink before gesturing for her husband to join her up on their makeshift stage.
Rodney/Brynn/Cas: Rodney did as he was told and joined her, smiling at the thought of two more weddings on the horizon. "This is our thank you for coming official speech," he announced to the crowd, "so thank you for coming." He laughed, looking at his wife. Still unable to process how he had managed to make her his wife. This morning they had woken up as Carmen Welch and Rodney Dodger, now they were Carmen and Rodney Dodger. That's what they would always be...Rod and Carmen, Mama and Papa Greaser. "Honestly, we couldn't imagine our lives without ya, any of ya. This day wasn't just about Car and me, it was about us. All of us, who we are, who we've been, and all the future's got for the Greasers...and guests. So here's to us and to all our nosy, meddling friends who made it possible for us to be standing here as husband and wife. Thank you." He smiled, finishing on a genuine note, "and now I'm going to take my bride home and enjoy the beauty of the wedding night."
