An advance copy of one of last year's projects arrived here yesterday. It's a book called Where Food Comes From published by @usborne_books. The good thing about working on educational books is that you learn loads of things you'd forgotten since school. This is a very blue spread as it's the sea, where fish come from, and crabs and octopuses which aren't fish but cephalopod molluscs. The older gentleman who kindly took this video was in Iceland, Reykjavik, several times. "Those were the days," he said "then we could fish [out of Grimsby] only 3 miles from Iceland, before the Cod Wars." Then Iceland declared no one else could fish within a 200 mile radius around Iceland, which started the Cod Wars. I was both on the coastguard ship and the whaler, used to patrol the 200 mile zone, colliding with ships from the British army.
