CMT Hot 20 Presents Let Freedom Sing!
So today on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I would like to talk about the latest edition of Let freedom sing! The show was by CMT (Country Music Television) and hosted by Cody Alan. And the performer was Brad Paisley playing his hits. The show took place on CMT and was on Tuesday July 4th, 2023 and was on at 10pm EST (Eastern Standard Time). So let see what Brad played for us on this special night.
Set list. So many Summers. The love boat. Water. Jerry Douglas, & Dan Tyminski played "Man of constant sorrow". This is Country Music. American Saturday night. Celebrity Whiskey lullaby with Kelleigh Bannen. Let the good times roll (Tribute to B.B. King). Mud on tires. Alcohol.
And that's a wrap for this special performance. And on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I would give this show a 3 out of 5 stars. My biggest complaint about these concerts are they only 1 hour long. Brad has a lot of hits, and he did deserve more time. It was good to go down memory lane with Brad's hits. Thanks for taking the time to read this review. See ya all next time.

CMT host Cody Alan released his debut book, Hear's the Thing
Cody Alan converted to Mormonism as a teen. He went on a mission, got married, had children, and yet he struggled because he’d known he is gay since he was young.
He came out to his wife in 2009, they divorced
Alan's relationship with religion changed over the years as he began to accept himself and eventually Alan left the Mormon church.
In 2015 he met his fiancé, and came out publicly in 2017. He’s written a book and here’s a few quotes from his interview about his book:
"When you go through most of your adult life living a 'straight' life, you learn to be that way and to sort of fake it. There's reasons why I stuck with the church for so long, but ultimately the prayers weren't answered in regards to making me straight — it doesn't work that way."
"I used to think that if I came out, if I was myself, that God was going to hate me. I realized after I came out that I was still just as loved, and my life was enhanced."
Fresh off a scooter 🛴 accident @shawnmendes sat down with @zacbrownband for a lil #CMTcrossroads interview. 2 incredibly talented musicians! #tbt
