i feel like the correct way to display rosemary and davekat is that everyone is fucking unhinged except for karkat kanaya cant find her hot knife? thats okay, she’ll just heat up a normal kitchen knife over the gas stove karkat would see and go “rose do you see what your fucking matespirit is doing?!” and rose would respond with “yeah, and she’s being safe so it’s cool” karkat would be fucking flabbergasted and try to consult in dave for reassurance and dave would go “well, she is being safe, so” literally all of them do the dumbest, most dangerous shit sometimes and karkat has to try to reason with them on *why* its dumb and dangerous karkat has probably saved them from possible death more times than he should have to

here's my silly rambles about Riki and Damian :D

also thank you @plateapus for saying you'd like to hear more, sorry this took a minute!!

basically, Damian is the son of the magic god, Rin and the death god, Azrael and so that makes him the god of dark magic and necromancy. When Dami was a little kid, Rin got banished to the mortal world for reasons he was never told and over the centuries he came to hate them for not being around.

Meanwhile in the mortal lands, Rin is still immortal but lost a lot of their godly powers so for the most part they travel and take on apprentices. Unfortunately all of them end up dying before him which of course makes him very sad. One day Rin finds a child cursed with immortality and takes him in. That kid is Riki.

When Damian finds out that Rin cares about Riki like his own son, he gets angry at them both and makes a bunch of very stupid decisions that end up causing much worse harm than he intended (i don't have it fully figured out but essentially he works with one of the sky gods who hates Azrael and that goes just great for everyone)

uhm i'm not really sure how to end this but yeah! those are my boys :3 if something was confusing or you wanna know anything else please do ask!!

Kind of wild how i dont think i’ll ever be nostalgic for anything in my teenage years because when meme trends pop up they’re beaten to death in two weeks and clothing trends are just the 80s and 90s repeated and it doesnt feel special and eventually a new thing will move in to replace it. Things like the crackle nail or marbel nail polish trends make me nostalgic because those lasted and you saw everyone doing it and it eventually died out with time rather than a few people being like “uugghh this trend is sooo ugly we need to stop” but now we’re so critical of things that when clothing trends appear someone makes a “top 10 trends that needs to die” video and then people will start agreeing and then that trend dies in a different way. Vsco girls are a thing now but instead i just see people making fun of them and making violent remarks when its just some trend to have scrunchies and a hydroflask and metal straws and fucking friendship bracelets for gods sake. Everyone remembers webkinz, yeah? I feel nostalgic for that bc of how long i would spend on it and how everyday after school i would log in and how everyone collected them like it was their job but now,, yeah i cant articulate it very well but i hope you understand what im trying to say
