I recently joined a really big and active Clair Obscur discord server, where I've met @blastia-heart the writer of Pianissimo, a fandom-famous fanfic.
Recently, he created a post-canon ship between Alan - commander of Expedition 33 - and Painted Renoir, the man who decapitated him at the Beach. I thought it was engaging as hell, to ship a man with his murderer. Especially how they made Alan need Renoir's love - after everything was settled and they were repainted in Maelle's world - while also resenting him for having killed him.
I tried to portray that conflict and vulnerability in the fanart. I hope you like it, pal.
