Hi there! It's been some time, hasn't it, haha. Just popping in with a bit some moments that @walrusface's and I have cooked up for Continent au.

Just little moments like Maelle’s first word and her getting to meet her uncle Monoco. Also Verso just falling in love with Gustave - I have a few more pieces I might drop later in the month for the au. But it might take me a wee bit cause I’ve been swamped.

Also - over the last couple of months my skills have grown a bit so forgive any style whiplash lol.

But can’t wait for you all to read the next chapter Wal’s write, it had me in tears.

I’m excited to share my BB pieces for @mollerson ‘s work. It was fun getting out of my comfort zone and trying something new.

And a big thank you Molly for VR working with me. It was a wonderful wild time working on these pieces either you. I do hope we can tinker and dance once more in creative chaos haha!!

Grisaille by InkBubble - so far this is my favourite work. I'd say it has of the most canon-complied versions of Verso in it, with all his goods and bads, and the text is deeply emotional and well-written. it's also a worthy tribute to Painted!Alicia. sometimes I wished for more dynamics, but nevertheless, I really loved it. wip.

Encore, Encore by acidmouthed - time loop!fic. not bad, but not really my cap of tea either. the sheer amount of repetition (meh, obviously) and dialogues from the game kinda forced me to skip some scenes. still, the characters are likable and I want to see where it goes. wip.

Alone With You by porgthespacepenguin - sweet piece with Gustave comforting Verso regarding his past. finished.

Butterfly Effect by porgthespacepenguin - this one is more anti-rec, really. the beginning was good, but at some point, Gustave mutates into a hysterical tearful mess, completely emotionally dependent on Verso. everyone is insanely invested in the relationship between two grown men, and the whole city has no greater concern than getting these two into bed. ugh. wip, btw.

YO! Hi hello, the anti- rec. I'm a be real, kind of cringe and behavior like that is not welcomed in fandom culture, especially not in this part of the fandom. It's really rude, especially since fics are free. I recommend if you don't like something don't read it and don't talk about it. You're not doing anything but being a dick. If that's your goal - then cool but don't tag it, keep that just to your blog.

Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes

The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve. 

Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.

If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.

Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.

This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!

I truly - deeply hate this, why?

I don't want to see my own reblogs getting their own notes and such - I want it to be fully part of the community, if I wanted to see it by itself I would be on twitter not here.

If you send feedback via Tumblr's feedback form (which you SHOULD do), you will get an autoreply telling you to leave a comment on the changes.tumblr.com blog (which you should also do!). Just make sure you're actually doing it on the reblog of this post from changes since, due to their own shitty update, they cannot/will not see the SIXTY THOUSAND NOTES that this update has generated, 99% of which are negative.
