You think it might be love when Jimin increasingly takes up more space in your brain. You think he might love you too... Only one way to find out.

Lowkey.  That’s what you’d agreed on when this had all started - when you’d made the choice to enter into whatever it was you had with Jeon Jungkook.

(A silly choice, first and foremost.  One borne from a crush held too long, by a friendship forged through years and years of downright idiocy; solidified by the sunny shape of his smile and the crinkles around his eyes.  That stupid laugh of his too, terribly loud and obnoxious, and yet all you’ve ever wanted - that makes you giddy when turned on you.)

(You can hear it now, echoing through the speaker, ringing in your ears.)

You should’ve known, though, that lowkey and Jungkook just weren’t meant to be.  He was larger than life, brighter than any star in the sky.  Attention followed him, bathed him in limelight.  He simply shone too bright, attracting every set of eyes. 

He would never be yours.  Not really.

(or:  Jungkook has to choose between you and his career.)

14. a fic you didn’t expect to write

literally all of them. looollll

ok ok ok ok being serious, i'd probably have to say my villain!jimin series! i neveerrrr in my current writer's life eevveerrr planned on writing a series. i swore to myself i never would. and then look at what happened (•́⍜•̀) clowned myself lmaaooo. but that's okay! learning as i go. am giving myself as much grace as i can spare lol

and my lover boy yoongi sequel! i absolutely loved the first fic but i never planned on writing a follow up fic. i mean, i certainly liked to daydream but never gave it any real thought. then baboom! it happened and i wrote and finished it so fast lol
