//I felt inspired to make another set! (Previous: 1, 2) This one is for @coetuselementorum.

Stats:

Made using GraphicConverter 12.0.8 on a 2023 MacBook Pro using a touchpad, 1px cursor, and 2000% zoom. Still not as good as the earlier version, but bearable once you know the tricks to navigate its finicky nature.

Set base (the Jayden_hu_neutral expression, top left) took about 1 hour and 24 minutes. The rest of the set and the sheet above (which was put together as I was making the set, which may have slowed things down) took 2 hours exactly.

This was a fun base to make. The ears and fluffy hair were an interesting challenge. I like how it turned out! :}

“I’d suggest ramen, but then even RICE can be classified as a soup under the right conditions, and then you’d have the conundrum of the utensils again given that you would generally use chopsticks for both--”

Missing Pieces

Zeke was nervous, to say the least. He didn’t know Jayden all that well, but... He needed those parts, and figured going alone wasn’t a great idea. Plus... It’s not like he had anyone else to ask.

He tightened the straps on his backpack before locating Jayden, thinking about the right way to ask for what he needed as he traveled. The direct but polite approach was the way to go, probably. After all, Jayden had every right to refuse to go with Zeke on whatever chaos this adventure could bring.

A deep breath helped him calm his nerves a little before he approached Jayden.

“If it is not too troublesome, would you be so kind as to accompany me to get some parts for my ship? It will not take more than a couple of days.” Question asked, waiting for response...

Out of sheer curiosity, how many of you are there in here? -the space-canine asked, his head poking through a wormhole like some parody of 'ceiling cat' as he delivered his inquiry-

“…there’s…. more’n we’d like to admit.”

Is Rock unsettled by the question or by the space-dog coming out of the ceiling? Probably the second one.

“There are a handful of individuals that frequent the HUB, roughly a dozen.“ Verse chimes in.

“There are however a few others running around.“ Unlisted people who still like to stick their heads in.

“Hello~”

-his voice chimed like a bell as he set the box on a nearby surface. Within was half-a-dozen rings of dough, some had some kind of glaze, some did not. Some had sprinkles, some did not. They all had some kind of topping though.-

“Help yourself, I had plenty earlier and I can’t trust my own sweet tooth sometimes. How are you doing?”

The Adept leaned against a nearby wall, still smiling warmly.

"Always nice to see you. I've been... Busy. Mostly in the mines, actually. Trying to learn about the ruins is difficult, as they aren't exactly willing to give up their secrets." And... There were other things keeping him busy, but that one had been at the front of his mind for a few days.

Reaching into the box, he took a doughnut at random. "What about you? Got anything interesting going on?" He asked, taking a bite of pastry.

-There was a beat of silence and a confused blink- “Erm… Really?” -He asked, folding his arms-

“Well I mean. If you want to I suppose we could give it a shot. How uh, how did you want to go about this?”

"No weapons, no magic, just bare hands." He was trying to rely less on his senses during combat, especially sight- if he were blinded somehow, he'd still need to be able to hold his own.
