Coffee & Butter - How It's Made Me Stronger

I wanted to write a quick personal post on the benefits of mixing coffee with butter and the positive benefits that I've gleaned from it over the past couple days.

I'm five days into my butter/coffee experiment and I have to say I'm absolutely loving it. I'm finding that have more energy, higher cognitive abilities, and fewer cravings. 

Now you may be wondering: "Why do you even bother Mathieu? You're cut already." (Oh stop it you...) But yes, even though this is the case, I still want to provide my body with better nutrients; and after switching from a largely carnivorous diet to a flexitarian diet for 2014; I felt that I best get my good fats from somewhere other than beans (which are questionable to begin with). 

So I read up on the coffee and butter combination and gave it a shot. Results? First of all it tastes fantastic. Second; it really does improve your day to day life.

A word of caution; this drink does contain about 200 calories. This is not a bad thing; in fact since you're sourcing these calories from good natural fats and not carbohydrates; you will improve your overall metabolism and look better for it. That being said; don't drink these everyday without working out and expect the fat to melt off of you like... butter melting in hot coffee.  

I give it my highest recommendations and hope you all at least give it a shot!
