yep. that’s why everyone is so mad. it’s not even about adapting to a new size, there is just no way to avoid the stretching. it’s so stupid.

540px. but here’s a fun fact: apparently tumblr will resize it to 500px either way and then stretch it to 540px. i haven’t tried with gifs but i can confirm it happens with pictures. :/

but isn't that gonna fuck with the gifs quality? i don't understand.
