Speaking of noises used to make horses move, I agree with the last asker that the clicking noise is almost universally standard. But the "HAAA" makes me laugh, too, because I've never seen anyone do that in real life except in jest (e.g. pretending to be knight while racing your horse). Usually they're a superfluous cue to kicking. Little ones (like a short "hyeh!"), maybe, but clicks are so much more effective and don't usually require another command. But I guess they aren't as dramatic!

haha maybe the horses they use on merlin are a little bit more demanding xD

Doctor Who (and Torchwood), Supernatural, Sherlock, Archer, Game of Thrones, Squidbillies, Metalocalypse (I really like ridiculous cartoon shorts), Boondocks, Always Sunny, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire (I don't know anyone else who watches this show but I friggin love it), Eastbound and Down

3. Who are your favorite actors?

Daniel Day-Lewis and Javier Bardem are at the top, and Kate Winslet is one of my favorite actresses.  I've also become really invested in Ben Whishaw and Tom Hiddleston (I get really into following the careers of artists I like and devour everything they've ever written/played/acted in) and anticipate the moment they win their major awards so I can scream I told you so to everyone.

4. Do you have any pets? What ones do you wish you had?

I've got a bowlegged, crosseyed cat named Gimpel and a golden retriever/chow chow mix named Malibu (who unfortunately has to stay at my parents' house since I haven't got room for her.  I've always wanted to be able to keep horses, though.

5. Who are your favorite ships?

Destiel, Johnlock, and DoctorDonna (my ships usually involve friendships that become more close as they develop rather than some big chemistry thing)

6. Where do you want to travel?

I've never been to Europe (any part) and would like to visit all of those countries and Australia/NZ, as well as Costa Rica.  I'd like to go back to Vietnam someday as well

7. What are your favorite books?

Don't make me choose between my children...off the top of my head I'd say:

Somewhere with a lot of land, with a small town nearby, but within an easy drive to a good city.

So, I see you and a lot of people doing these "rate my blog" things. I've never "applied" for one (what do you call it? haha) because I really don't need someone telling me my blog sucks, but I was wondering...what criteria do you use? What is a "good" blog? Or a "good" icon? I keep browsing the "asfkldjsi I love you" rated blogs and the "meh" rated ones, but I don't get it. Or is it that you like the PEOPLE running them? Nothing against them; just curious.

Hi, wow. I can't believe someone actually asked. This is nice. 

I can't speak for everyone but I myself look for clean blog. I like light colors and I like for things to be even. I don't like long text post unless it's something written by you. I don't like for there to be A LOT going on. as for Icon pictures, I always rate high if it's a picture of the owner of the blog or a famous person I like. If I have no idea what it is I rate it lower. If there is auto play music that's a no and if you have a background on repeat that annoys me. But like I said, Everyone is different and this is just me. I often feel bad when I rate people low but I am always honest. Thanks so much for asking!
