13.When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?
This is a tricky question, since I mean how often does anyone really say how they feel about anything? What if you’re honestly saying how you feel about one thing while concealing another thing, or remaining unaware of it? I could say “I’m cold” and that would be honest, but it wouldn’t cover how I feel about everything, unless the listener read deeper into it—maybe my skin is cold or maybe it’s my soul; but if someone asks a question, is the burden of understanding on the questioner or the respondent?
Anyway, I guess the clearest answer I can think to this is when I sent my best friend a text a few minutes ago that said “I’m bored, lonely, vaguely depressed, and crave skinny men, woo girls, and chocolate ice cream”
20. Are you old fashioned?
No. Maybe about some things, like the best way to cook cornbread, and the way some clothes ought to fit, but basically no.
21. When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it?
I don’t ever expect anything in return for it. However, I guess a more specific example would be last Friday I wired a girl I’m only somewhat friends with $200 to get her car out of the impound lot so she could go to work. Being poor sucks ass, we’ve got to help each other out if we can. She paid me back today as well.
