One of my favorite bits about bridgerton is going through for a second time, knowing everything, and noticing so much more. Most recent realization for me is that after the queen gave the Featheringtons the cut direct at her luncheon Lady Whistledown gave *her* the written equivalent of a cut direct in her next issue! Penelope was like "no gossip to report, what a sad day for the ton....queen who?"

OH MY GOD I DIDNT EVEN REALIZE THAT.

So I’ve been “rewatching” but like I’ve been going through looking for things to gif, and I have like six gifsets I’m working on lol, but I really want to completely rewatch and gif the whole damn thing.

I wasn’t mentally prepared for the way this show would take over, and now I’m like overwhelmed by it all.

Okay okay I'm gonna say this about bridgerton too before I go to bed: the music is so good too! Anytime Simon and Daphne are dancing the violins are actually playing modern love songs, which doesn't happen any other time (not done rewatching but I don't think it does) and I loooooove that

The music was PEAK SHONDA.

Like, was it modern? Yes, but- THAT DIDN'T MATTER.

The violins playing, it connected the audience to it, it's things we recognize, but it also feels part of that world, and like the dancing, it shows a love story, because they are love songs or that's the general idea, and that this is just, it's them falling in love and we the audience know it because we connect to it.

Perfection. Magnificence. Flawless.

Ohhh my goodness that valentine's episode/ted talk is literally EXACTLY the conversation I've had with my sisters about the end of the show! So cathartic to hear someone else say it out loud!

Sending my cat too! (And the dog, but we're not sending dogs) Cat's name is Casper (he's a friendly ghost!) He doesn't always understand WHY the dog plays the way he does but Casper always wants to play along
