Coiled pots workshop October.
I’m experimenting with coiled fabric pots for the October workshop. There are several possible methods and I want to get a handle on them all to show the students. The blanket stitch method is the most approachable so far and I like the way the stitching helps to blend the colours. I’m trying the same method with the twisted cord at the moment. Je fais des expériences avec des petits pots en tissu enroulé pour l’atelier d’octobre. Il y a plusieurs méthodes possibles et j’essaie de les tous maîtriser pour pouvoir montrer aux étudiants. La méthode avec point de feston est la plus accessible jusqu’ici et j’aime comment le fil utilisé aide à faire mélanger les couleurs. J’essaie la même méthode maintenant avec la corde torsadée.
