Dracula in simple words, is a coward. Everything in his life revolves around that fact. When his father died he was entrusted with the leading of his colony of bats, but when things became hard he made a deal with the Devil in which his colony would be safe but he was obligated to become the accountant of the Devil and the bats became simple minded toon-creatures. He regrets his decision but is too scared to lose power and change his situation. That's why he is empathetic of other toons and their regrettable life choices.
Ever since Dracula spends his time at the bar of the casino, drinking, playing darts and striking up conversations with lost souls who find themselves at the casino.
