I want to start practicing día de los difuntos again with the cemetery tradition, but the deceased loved ones I know were protestant... And I know my grandma is REALLY going to hate it if I do a "pagan" tradition in my aunt's or my grandpa's graves... Also not sure abt how aunt and grandpa feel about it since they were also protestant.

My other grandpa and other aunt I never met, but I guess I could ask my dad and abuelita what they liked to eat.

I feel like I should do SOMETHING now that I don't even drink colada morada or eat wawas and that I work for the cursed empire and I do not get national holidays. I just think it's too much. What's the point of having all those herbs and spices in colada if it only tastes like SUGAR and blackberry??? It shouldn't be so sweet and thick I would rather try the llama blood version at this point if I'm being honest. Same with guaguas de pan I'd rather eat the simple bread version of them. I might do it for my food page honestly.
