Hot and cold. Hot and cold. Hot and cold.
Snow seals the ground. Fire-colored daylight fractures the ice. Between them stands this building — no longer shelter, not yet absence.
Sometimes survival is not about staying intact, but about continuing to receive light even while coming apart. Even ruins accept sunlight.
Hot and cold. Hot and cold. Hot and cold.
