BEATRIX SAKAMAKI'S CHILDHOOD HEADCANONS.
SOOO!! I know that i said that i will post little BUT at seeing some of the Sakamaki's mothers hc's i did along with some reminders of the route, i was curious about everything of Beatrix... ANYWAYS enjoy!! First of all, a little reminder that this is merely my thougths, opinions and facts and with that enjoy!! (again).
ەSometimes i really think that her name was something European like Grafenstein or von Eisenhart althought i go more for von Eisenhart.
ەFrom a very young age, Beatrix was not treated as a “girl,” but as an heir. No normal games: her routine was study, etiquette, control… as if she were already being prepared for a political role.
ەHer family probably saw emotions as flaws. If she cried, they didn’t console her—they taught her to stop. That made her develop an almost unnatural self-control.
ەShe saw her parents as a figure of authority who were extremely demanding. No matter how much she achieved: she could always do better. It was never enough.
ەIt wasn’t that she didn’t want affection… she simply didn’t know how to ask for it. And over time, she stopped trying.
ەAs a child, she would watch other kids interact (laughing, hugging) with a strange mix of curiosity and distance.
ەAs if it were something she wasn’t allowed to experience.
ەIf anyone ever tried to approach her genuinely, Beatrix probably reacted with coldness or rejection… not out of malice, but because she didn’t know how to respond without feeling vulnerable.
ەShe had rare moments alone where she allowed herself to lower her guard, but they were minimal.
ەPerhaps reading, practicing something in silence… or simply staring out the window, thinking far too much for her age.
ەFrom early on she developed the mindset: “If I’m not strong, I’m useless.” That made her highly capable… but emotionally isolated.
🧊 A defining detail from childhood
ەBeatrix did not hate weaknes... she just feared it in herself.
ەThat’s why, when she saw someone being emotional or dependent, it triggered rejection in her: it was literally everything she had been taught to suppress.
ەALRIGHT, don't really like leaving some things to the imagination SO i'll go for something of her parents!!
PARENTS:
ەHer parents were probably called something like "Alaric von Eisenhart" meanwhile her mother was "Helene von Eisenhart."
ەThey were probably perfect but completely absents.
ەHer father was cold, logic and imposing as his wife believing firmly in the hierarchy, discipline and legacy.
ەHe didn't really raised his voice... neither really needed it.
ەAlaric NEVER called Beatrix "daughter" with love.
ەALL his words towards her were like:
"You should."
"Correct that."
"It isn't enough."
ەAND small detail: If Beatrix did something perfect, he didn't smiled. He just said "As expected of you."
(Kinda mf in my opinion.)
ەHelene wasn't really cruel.. she just was unattainable.
ەShe was elegant, always flawless, always correct.
ەBut, beside of all that, she was like being empty or disconnected emotionally.
ەWith Beatrix, she wasn't really caring since she didn't spontaneously hugged her.
ەDidn't console her when she was feeling bad.
ەHonestly her love was... like protocol.
ەA example is that she always fixed Beatrix hair, fix her posture or teach her etiquette.
ەEverything was physical care but zero emotional containtment.
DYNAMIC BETWHEEN HER PARENTS:
ەI do really believe that they weren't a loving couple but functional alliance.
ەRespect? Yes.
ەWarmth? No.
ەCloseness? Didn't really existed just when they were pressed to have a heir but from there nothing imagine that they had separated bedrooms.
ەAnd Beatrix? Growed seeing all that as "normal".
ەThe enviroment in that house were formed by LOOONG silence that you could hear even the small sound of a window away from them, strict rules, high expectations and zero emotional validation.
ەConclution: When she finally grow, Beatrix didn't "chose" to be cold but that's the only thing she knowed, so, when she knowned Karl, he didn't looked strange for her, didn't complaint the absence of affect or attention and didn't waited for more when she had Shu.
