it was a pure coincidence when he first laid his eyes on you. You just happened to be staying at the same place he was.
He settled with watching you at first. You stayed in the living room as well so it was easy.
of course, as it always goes.. Watching turns into stalking, stalking turns.. well, worse.
he wasn't a visitor, but he was the one who killed that tall guy when he was showing interest in you. The house owner still doesn't know who killed him.
you're friends with a lot of the other people here, you're not all that friendly at times but they seem to like you.
You and coat guy end up getting pretty close. He shares his secret, you share some bits about yourself, its great.
he brings you food, he does all these little things nobody else considers, it's so kind of him. You think so anyway, and you've told him.
he'd rather die than mess this up. You're giving him a chance..
so imagine how he felt when you managed to take the blanket from the house owners bedroom and give it to him. You wanted to try to help him get warm, his heart could've melted as he accepted the blanket from you.
you were so sweet.. it must have been meant to be, you and him.
but, the people in the house start dropping in numbers. The homeowner knows he isn't a visitor, nor you, so he just lets more people in. He doesn't realise it's coat guy, he forgot non-visitors still kill others too.
naturally, you get paranoid. but he helps ease your mind by sharing the blanket and talking to you or vice versa.
do you ever get suspicious? no. for some reason you never even considered it.
he's so sweet, he wouldn't do that. right? right.
that's how it stays. you and him live with the home owner until things are alright. and once things are relatively back to normal? you're coming with him.

Wireface
When you sung before you two were together, he would, like the others, stand nearby and listen. All the radios played anymore was broadcasts, and the TV's wouldn't stop talking about how fucked the world was. Whilst a few of the people who stayed over told you to shut up, blinded by their paranoia, though the others appreciated your singing very much.
especially Wireface.
Could he actually tell how just how much he loves your voice and tunes? fuck no.
despite the difficulty of communicating, you guys started dating once you finally figured out THATS what he was trying to tell you.
you thought he was trying to tell you he had an appreciation for rugs...
But once you two are dating, stuff goes from like a 10 to a 20. He sits with you when you play your music, admires you without hiding it when you sing, all of that.
he truly admires how you don't seem all that affected by the world right now. He tries to be as hopeful as you but it just doesn't work.
definitely showers you in tons of compliments. Even if you can't understand him, it's the thought that counts.
When you two are trying to sleep at night, he usually has trouble. So, you sing him gentle lullabies to try and lull him to sleep. It works every time.
Coat guy
he is another person who enjoys your singing, it helps take his mind off of the cold..
and the death at their doorstep, but mostly the cold in his case.
he doesn't understand the people that tell you to stop. Why would they want to focus on how horrible the world is..?
He confessed to you once it was just you and him in the living room. It was hard for him, but he did it. and thankfully, you liked him back.
Unlike Wireface, he never hid his love for your music. Before you guys were dating, he complimented your voice when you finished singing. it was stuttery, but genuine.
But now, he's more precise with his compliments, a tad more intimate. Their genuinely aimed at you, not just spoken to the room.
I headcanon that the protagonist gave him his blanket since he doesn't use it anymore. so, yes, your hot, everyones hot here. But you guys share the blanket during the night. It's a pretty light blanket, but it keeps anyone warm. So you rest under it with him to make him happy, but shimmy out from under it once he's asleep.
He loves you, and he doesn't do a lot to show affection. So it'd be mean to say no. Even though he forgot you aren't cold like him.
you also sing him lullabies, but instead of singing its humming.
