This season the weather has been either really cold or really hot. Make up your mind California.

I am seriously overheating. I think I've overdone it today. I have a splitting headache and my leg is fiery agony and I'm just sweaty and icky in general. Anyone in the USA want to send winter down to the southern hemisphere? We're in a major drought here in NZ and could do with cold and wet.

When ibuprofen, acetaminophen, and regular old aspirin won't work, ice packs and numbing the crap out of myself ALWAYS does. It was one of the few extreme differences between my mom and myself... she always dove for a heating pad, a warm washcloth for a headache... all that stuff. Me? Give me as much cold as possible, please. I think the only exception now that I've gotten older is sore joints. On those, I will succumb to a heat/cold back and forth regime. And I do like something warm on my toes on occasion.
