You’re right, they are extremely goofy, but I think they manage to pull off the ridiculous bowsprit in a way that actually looks pretty good and plays nicely with the boat’s lines. Like, you’ve got a pretty good looking boat to start with, and you just extend the sheer line for like, oh, another 20 feet, and it’s not bad!
Hetairos.
Glissade is, in my opinion, just about as close to a perfect boat as I could imagine. The only real change I would make is a ketch rig, but her size, material, color, and other specs are otherwise perfect. This is the one boat I would like most.

"Owner's Comments: This boat has lived principally in the barn during the time that we have owned her. So I don't have good information as to the functionality of some systems (depth and speed instruments, for example). We did have her afloat for a short while a couple of years ago. I was not in this office then, so I have only sketchy information about how she performed. Mast and rigging are good. She definitely sails well."
