Coffee people, got a question:

The coffeemaker died and we are debating if its worth it to get a cold press as well as a replacement coffeemaker.

Is a cold brewer really gonna make significantly better iced coffee than just making a regular hot pot and cooling it in the fridge? Cuz we are not coffee snobs, we dont notice a huge difference between homemade iced coffee and cold press from Caribou.
