Maia was out on a walk and she was listening to her music. Headphones were plugged in and that’s when she thought someone said something to her. Pausing the song, she turned to face the person. “Did you say something?” She asked wondering.
“Okay, this royally fucking sucks. Doc says I’ll be in a cast for months.”
I think I partied a little too hard this weekend that I don’t remember a lot of conversations that I had.
“Why am I here? This isn’t fun.”
“Do you hear yourself? That doesn’t make any sense.”
“Thank goodness national scare the daylights out of your pets day is over.”
   “Have you ever wanted something so bad that you’d do anything for it, you wanted this one thing more than anything else in the world, then you finally get it --- and realize you don’t really want it anymore nor did you ever need it? Then you begin to want something else?” He’s explaining this to the other carefully. It’s something he knows best about. “That’s what greed is.”
