I was tagged by @coldplaygraphics (thank youuuuu Veida, the songs u chose are amazing) to mark my favourite line from songs I’ve been listening to. 

 1. Drawing pins- Nothing but Thieves: Lights are on but no one’s in. When you talk, I don’t feel like I belong here at all. 

2. I ran away- Coldplay: Everyone I know says I’m a fool to mess with you, everyone I know says it’s a stupid thing to do. 

3. Bittersweet symphony- The verve: I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now, but the airways are clean and there’s nobody singing to me now. 

4. Leave the door wide open- N-O: You watch her do this every time, but you still wonder how she is, that convoluted happiness, we leave the door wide open now, we come together, we fall apart, we make some noise inside a room and call it art. 

5. Drive- Halsey: Your laugh echoes down the highway, carves into my hollow chest, spreads over the emptiness. It’s bliss.

 6. The judge- twenty one pilots: But I’m not good with directions and I hide behind my mouth, I’m a pro at imperfections and I’m best friends with my doubt. And now that my mind’s out, and now I hear it clear and loud, I’m thinking, Wow, I probably shoulda stayed inside my house.

 7. The view from the afternoon- Arctic Monkeys: Anticipation has the habit to set you up, for disappointment in evening entertainment but tonight there’ll be some love.

8. Leave my body- Florence + the Machine: I don’t need a husband, don’t need no wife, and don’t need the day, I don’t need the night, and I don’t need the birds let them fly away, and I don’t want the clouds, they never seem to stay.

9. Rango- Catfish & the Bottlemen: Darling I’m done for once, and as soon as I get outta here, I plan on coming back for nothing, but then again there’s you. 

10. All These Things That I’ve Done- The Killers: I am so much older than I can take, and my affection, well it comes and goes, I need direction to perfection.
