After reading Secret Warriors, I'm convinced Nick put Nat and Jasper on the same team as almost a joke.  Like, Jasper said something really sassy to Nick and as a bit of "payback" he pushes Jasper into a mission with Nat. He knew they'd hate each other at first, but would work really well together. When he notices how close they become that's when he makes them a Strike team. He would never admit it, but Nick loves how close the two of them are.

[[ technically she absorbs energy, but most magic is translated to energy for the sake of comic book science so we don't have to explain something new like that

ANYWAY

ultimately I would probably accept carol being creamed in a fight with any DC person so long as the person actually provided reasoning to believe that's what would happen (someone also did a superman vs. carol fight where she won (for all the wrong reasons, but i digress))

but here I am actually worried that Carol might be overpowered (seriously bulletproof, flying, absorbing and redirecting energy, superhuman strength, healing factor, and "ultimate form" (binary)--she's invisibility short of having every major superpower and then some), and the only reasoning this dillhole provides is "dc powerhouses > marvel powerhouses" ]]
