Cousin Fight

On the topic of “The Secret Garden” can you imagine how the walls would shake when Colin and Mary got into a fight? They both have a good set of lungs, hot tempers and only child syndrome - I feel bad for the servants.  I’d be investing in a good set of earplugs if I worked there. Uncle Craven had his work cut out for him when he finally started paying attention.

Teasing Cousins

I just watched the 1993 version of The Secret Garden again for the first time in years, and I had a funny thought. Someday when Colin has children and he’s stressing about their development, Mary will probably say something like “You worry too much Colin.  They’ll start walking in their own time - it only took you eleven years.”

The kids are going to take their first steps in the garden and you can’t tell me otherwise.
